Screen Issues Since Installing NC Soft Launcher

I have heard thaat some folks are experiencing problems since installing the new NC Soft launcher.
Since I instaled it, I have been plagued with graphics issues - image flickering, black tiles on the Log In screen, screen going dark when clicking in-game menus, etc., etc., etc.
I have been told these are the results of a memory leak problem with the new launcher.
Is there a thread on the forums where I can find information on how to fix these problems?
Thanks in advance.

A 'memory leak' in the new launcher shouldn't cause anything at all like that. A couple things to try:

Close the NCSoft Launcher (exit out of it completely, make sure it isn't in the system tray!), then start the game manually:[list][*]Press the Windows key on your keyboard (usually situationed between one of the sets of Alt & Control... the one with the little flag) and while holding it, press R on your keyboard, then release both.[*]In the run dialog box that just appeared, copy and paste the following bold string of text that corresponds with the version of Windows you're running:
If running 32bit Windows, using the default installation path: C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\cityofheroes.exe -project coh
If running 64bit Windows, using the default installation path: C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes\cityofheroes.exe -project coh[*]See if you've got any issues still!

If you still see the issue, it's pretty safe to say it's unrelated to the NCSoft Launcher. Now, if the issue goes away, I'd suggest changing the NCSoft Launcher's setting to automatically exit upon launching the game (might as well anyways), which would hopefully work around your issues.

Kitsune Knight, thanks for the input! I will try that and post the results, just in case anyone else is having the same problems.
Just for the record: I've replaced my vid card, switched monitorss, UPS'es, cables, the whole nine tards. It's down to either a CoH-related issue or a power supply issue, but so far I'm only having problems in CoH, so...

Okay, so this is weird:

Having cut-and-pasted the command line as instructed and then clicked "OK", I get the following message:

"Windows cannot find 'C:\Program'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

What fun Windows 7 is!

The black spots, especially in grandville, are a texture/driver issue, I've gotten those for years now. The UI blink is new since GR for me, but I would be willing to put cash on it being related. Be sure your video drivers are up to date.

If you're seeing things like this(Any of them, but specifically the Half-Life image, since that sounds like what you're experiencing on the launch screen): http://www.playtool.com/pages/artifacts/artifacts.html

Your video card is likely going bad.

You need to put quotes around the "C:\Program Files\City of heroes\cityofheroes.exe" bit of the string as otherwise Windows interprets the spaces as the end of the current command.
