3 suggestions

1. A vendor located at blackmarkets/consignments that you can sell your recipes/salvages/enhancements to if you just want to get rid of them instead of putting them up for auction. Maybe there is one, hell i can't find them. It would make the process of auctioning flow a bit quicker.

2. More space for buying/holding recipes/enhancements both in auction screen and player inv. I can't think of a good reason why not.

3. Option to remove unwanted buffs. Why would i want an ice shield covering my fantastic costume!

I won't pretend i know how much work goes into coding the game, so i wont insert a " i don't think it would be so hard to implement " into my opinion.

Enjoy

Not a bad idea.

When asked about this in the past (as well as recipe storage in bases) the devs have taken the stance that increasing it would encourage hoarding. I'm not sure I agree with them on character storage but there is a rational for limiting market slots. A limit on transaction slots encourages players to place bids that will fill in a reasonable time frame instead of long-term just in case bids.

Yeah, this has been asked for quite a few times, often in response to the latest I hate/love speed boost thread. I think it makes a lot of sense the issue is just how much pain is it for the devs to implement.

1: This has been asked for before. I have never had a problem finding a vendor that is close to the market. Not a bad idea though.

2: Also been asked for. Several times. More market slots, ok. More inventory slots on toons, not going to happen. Maybe a long time down the road, but the devs seem to think that it is fine now. good enough reason not to.

3: Also been asked for before. In different ways. One option suggested was to be able to remove them. Another was a pop up screen to accept/decline buff.

The key to my point can be found in the very first sentence in each answer. The search button is there for a reason. Use it. See if anyone else has suggested this before. Read the thread to see if you can add anything new to it, by starting another thread if the one you are reading is more then 2 months old, rather then just spout out a sentence or 2 as an idea. Remember that you have to convince the reader why your ideas are a good.

1. /signed

2. While we all would like this, you've been given the reasons the devs gave us why we have our current limits. That's not saying we agree with them.

3. Asked for many times over the years.

The way I understand it, is that if they allowed you to remove unwanted buffs, you'd also be able to remove unwanted debuffs as well, as the game does not distinguish between the two. Debuffs are simply buffs using negative values.

Not saying it can't be done, but that's the general response to request #3.

Though I wouldn't mind if all 3 of those suggestions made it in-game.

That is my understanding too. I don't know who told us that, but it's been the standard answer for a while.

Also, a popup would be terrible.... it would have to be for all buffs (I assume it would be linked to the power so it wouldn't pop up on debuffs) Gather for RARA, click yes twice. Ohhh, fort is down... mid fight popup... SB down on the granite... mid fight popup.... aaarrrrgggghhhhh No No No

As I recall, the last response we got on this can be found in the "Wouldn't it Be Great if" podcast. The gist was that one of the programmers really wanted it and they were going to look into it. So chances are if it's doable we'll get it eventually

This is why I'd prefer a pop up window similar to the /hide feature that lists all the buff/debuffs and you select the ones you are willing to accept. It could even have a teammate only option.

That would be a humongous pop-up . Still it's probably a good way of handling it.

I heard that the problem was that the buff and debuff system was actually the same, and coding to be able to remove one with out granting the other was problem-some.

I did say if it were possible but saying that a system you need to alter the programing for may need you to further change the programing of the game is rather redundant. Heck, they could theoretically already do it if they made all player buffs grant their effects through temp powers like Mystic Fortune/Secondary Mutation do and set those temp powers as deletable.
