Remaking a build of a toon of mine. Originally she used Maneuvers and Assault, but I decided after a bit I should ditch them and Hurl for Tough and Weave. Turned out better than I had hoped. HP and Regen is high, End Recovery is high, global recharge is 77.5%. (67.5% if I replace the purples in the build with 5% boost sets) Oddly, on a lark, I got Psi Resists up to 26%, which I found a bit astounding, but I like the idea of having my resists well rounded. I though I'd put it up, see if anyone liked it or had further ideas.

I know, but I had the slots to spare, and I like the idea of the Psi resist.

It's not set in stone, but I like it. Could move most of the slots from CJ to GC, but like I said, I like the Psi Resist.

You can steal some slots from CJ and still maintain your overall Psi resists, you'd only lose 3%.

On a Tanker especially, I think its a mistake not to slot OWTS with some Heal & possibly resistance IOs.

Yes, its a "sometimes" power. But if given the choice between 3% psi resist or the ability to suddenly boost HP by 680 (2 L50 heal IOs), I would go with the HP.

2 L50 resistance IOs means you can actually self cap your SM/L resistance and then be at 45-50% to all other damage types excluding PSI, on top of the extra 680+ HP.

In a similar vein, I would slot True Grit very differently. Slotting the regen/recovery uniques there means you aren't enhancing the HP boost. I'd move the uniques to Health and slot TG with 3-4 Numina and at least one, if not two resistance common so you're getting more resistance enhancement.

I also think Hasten needs another recharge slot, and I'd put another slot or two in Stamina before slotting for those Psi resist bonuses. And why not put another slot in Foot Stomp to get the Oblit melee def bonus? I think that would be a lot more useful in the long run.

Good points on the Health/True Grit Slotting, and finishing the Obliteration. Hasten is fine as is, I'm not looking for Perma Hasten on this build. I tend to use it as an 'oh snap' button or when I know I'm stepping into a tougher fight.

It still makes me cringe to see all those overslotted toggles.

In some ways, putting all those slots in GC is worse than CJ, since you get absolutely no benefit from them yourself. I think you could find a much better use for them. Here's the sort of thing I would do--well, actually I would pull the extra slots from BA, Tough and Weave in a heartbeat--but barring that, here's what I recommend:

Finduilas: Can't completly, disagree, but I tend to team more often on this one, so Grant Cover becomes a very powerful Maneuvers for everyone else. Still gave OWtS a Heal IO, True Grit a third Impervium Armor. New version at the bottom of the post.

Psiphon: ...Why is Deflection held off until level 18? And why an Accuracy IO in Taunt? It only needs Accuracy if you plan on PvPing. Why is the Numina Proc in Aid Other where it won't do any good? It'll only activate if you use it all the time. Why not put in Health where it'll be on all the time? Why is Aid Self only slotted for interrupt and heals? Where's the recharge? If you ever exemplar DOWN you'll lose all your global recharge and Aid Self will have nothing to speed up it's availability. And you could slot in Numina or Miracle sets for more bonuses. And True Grits has no Heal slotting, so your not getting any HP bonuses from it.

The monster Global Recharge on it is awesome, don't get me wrong, but it the build seems to focus on it and softcap alone.

Here's a build that I've been working on with suggestions I've gotten from others aswell. I focused on getting soft cap, +rech, and def debuff resistance. It's not a finished build I'm sure there's ways to better it, but it's what I've got thus far. Doesn't have any psi resistance but I figured I could fill that gap with temp powers, temp buffs, inspirations if I ever get in a bind where I'm needing the resistance.

Also on a side note, when I was putting the build together I was just picking powers and slotting as I went, haven't really looked it over to see if it's the correct order I would pick the powers in. . . .

This is a build that I adapted from another that got a little corrupted. The proper build is on my other PC - I'll try to post it later.

The build is aimed at capped defense and recharge though.
Recharge allows me to stack Rage for the damage, have permanent capped DDR and Footstomp up as often as possible.
Footstomp is not only great damage it provides mitigation.

Ah. Well I'm sure you'll work that out.

Also, DeathHarvester, very well made build. Only suggestion I have is to pull the IO out of Combat Jumping and toss in the Kismet Proc.
