Warburg
was nice to have some fun in PvP again... lets do it again soon...
No one goes there anymore, it's too crowded...
"The potato goes in the FRONT."
A big, HUGE, thank you goes out to all the people who came out last night and put the War back into Warburg. For too long, the 'burg, as I refer to it, has been far too quiet.
I'm really not sure how many there were there, either. About a dozen? And I know a few were first timers to PvP, to those: You Rock! And I hope ye come back, too. Was a fun crowd!
I didn't get any pvp drops. I seem to be allergic to those >.> , but oh well.
And Hazy? Not sure if ye caught my comment about Gadget, so I'll say it again. Really don't like that toon, she's become the paper to my rock everytime I've run into you in the 'burg. And I can't wait to be netted by her again, either. I swear, it got to the point where I'd be after someone else entirely and I'd get stopped cold by a net arrow, to which my reply was always the same - G******it Gadget!
I'm thinkin I need to bind the 'shake fist at sky' emote just so I can show my, uh... appreciation... of being caught in a net. I got to where I was lmao at how often it happened over the course of the hour+ we were fightin...
@Raven Lord (Who's toon last night was Carcharias. He started out as a large mutant great white shark, so it's especially demeaning to get caught in nets like some wimpy anchovy. Oi, the irony.)
"She gives my ex-wife a run for the money."
It was entirely too much fun using the attack chain of entangling arrow -> glue arrow -> run away. I used that on PW atleast a dozen times

Can't get enough Hazy? /chanjoin robo's lounge today!
No appreciation for the taunters. Sad panda.
[Team] Imperious Rex: Yep. once again, the Robo's Lounge folks showed me how easy this game is. |

The random taunt did kinda suck. Took me a bit to realize what was going on. So, yeah, I agree, that was pretty bs.

I'm sorry I missed the fun! I think I'll start a patrol through RV and Warburg and announce it on the global channels while I'm passing through, maybe some of you will be on and try to harass me.

@Ukase
if you wait till the wee hours of the night, that is when the real pvp happens. I've seen a single person run through and wipe out an entire group of 5 people all by themselves. Really impressive stuff
Currently being 3:30 am here <yawn>, just how wee are the hours ye're talkin here? And which zones?

@Ukase
Warburg is the place late at night.
for at least 4 people....
because "at least" means exactly 4?
thanks for the fun again.
Well, I got clobbered good and proper by a couple of toons, working together.
They have a sneaky tactic - they engage you in conversation, and while you type a response, they sneak up on you.
They clobbered my ill/rad pretty easily. My ice blaster fared slightly better, except I forgot I was invisible. It took me a few seconds to figure out why I couldn't target them when I finally saw them.
I can tell I'm rusty, (wasn't that great at it to begin with, unless I had a double dose of clear mind.) but, practice will lead closer to perfection.

@Ukase
Best PvP trap I ever participated in was to have a devices blaster set a bunch of trip mines. Then I took my controller and had her dance on top of them. When the sneaky stalker showed up, he went boom.

A couple of nights I've been there a couple of stalkers have been there too, but I didn't see anyone get AS'd

@Ukase: I seem to have a similar tactic. I show up to pvp and get smacked around until I start retaliating in an effective manner. Sometimes, it even works!
@Hazy: Being one of the people who got AS'd more than once last Sunday, I can assure you it happens.
<level stare> And it would have happened LESS had somebody not kept netting and gluing random targets of opportunity to make the stalkers' night profitable...</level stare>
@Enderbean: Way to go! I LIKE that idea. Wonder if tp foe is still too 'improved' by i13 to work to tp people onto trip mines. I seem to recall they 'improved' that tactic into 'retirement'.
