I bet a well-build wolf spider can do some serious AE damage if approached right. It would definetly be unique, I have yet to see a pure wolf around on Virtue. I might put one together later but note that I don't have play experience with them so not sure if it will come out the way you imagine (I think pummel is waaay too fun to skip!).

I'm currently tweaking the build as I have found that 85% psi resist isn't really all that useful. There aren't many mobs with "psy only" flagged attacks that I encounter (tarantula mistresses, npc forts, carnies, LB wardens and I think some boss lvl rikti mesmerists? sure I'm missing a few), and what hits me applies a -rech... which impacts my already iffy mind link recharge (I have about a 7 second window to click it, compared to about 18 seconds on my NW).

I'm thinking about switching over to the superior dual mode approach my NW utilizes, who doesn't have capped psi resist but performs way better vs hordes of psionic-heavy groups. The NW has two sets of toggles on the same build, one for "infiltration" that includes using mask presence for stealth and opening crits for one-shotting pesty sappers etc, the other toggle for "heavy combat", which replaces MP with combat jumping and retains pure positional softcaps (since the two run the same defensive values) while allowing better endurance management and granting 45.2% psi defense.

I'll post it when I'm finnished though.

I work my build to focus on having alot of end recovery vs end usage. Also with defenses being high even past soft-cap! Better safe than sorry!

Damage I don't really care about as that will fall into play easily having two assaults and with i19 added Musculature Radial Paragon, for the extra damage and end recovery.

Tweak whatever you want I don't care...this is what build works for me and it is very solid!

Not cheap either but like you said you dont have a problem with that!

Also as a side note...I put that set on BRAWL because I find myself using that more than BOXING! If you plan to PvP then put it on BOXING! Just a small tidbit there!

Virtue: Streets Avenger (Main - Villain) - Lvl 50+3 Street Justice/Energy Aura Stalker (Agility Radial T4/ Degenerative Radial T4) - Fully IO'd

IMO, you went WAAAAYYYY overbudget on defense. You're miles above the softcap, even with Cloak suppressed. Better safe than sorry may be true, but you're not really measurably safer than someone who opted for a more balanced build. IMO Acrobatics is a complete waste for a class with high defense, stealth and status protection. A bit more slotting toward making your targets dead faster will serve you better, both in terms of endurance recovery and safety. Plus blues drop an awful lot, at least when I play.

You did get me thinking that I was way overslotting Surveillance on my Bane Machine build, however. I rearranged the slots to pick up some more recharge, and I think the build is much better for it:

As ever, these things often come down to taste and playstyle, but I definitely would rather dish out 10% more damage than be 10% safer. I guess it comes of my long history of playing squishy classes, I'm quite used to popping the odd purple inspiration when I need to. I've said it before, but it bears repeating: Banes are stalkers with some utility powers, trading damage for an excess of survivability doesn't play to their strengths. Their best defense is standing on the shattered corpses of their enemies.
