Quicksand does damage?

So I noticed on my Fire/SS tank that when I hit Fiery Embrace and cast Quicksand it would do damage; however, it normally doesn't do damage without FE. Then if you look at the detailed info. in the powers info. it says it does do 27 pts of fire damage at level 50??? So why isn't QS doing damage whenever I cast it without FE?

Just a quick question. How do you get Quicksand on a Fire/Super Strength tank? Is it taken as a PPP?

That sounds like a bug to me. As far as I know, FE isn't supposed to add damage to anything that didn't already do damage.

It's a part of the tank version of the Earth Mastery Epic Pool.

When Fiery Embrace was changed, all those damage numbers were added to powers. It wasn't just FE that changed, every power it could effect had to be modified. I'd suspect this was done manually, so I'd conclude that this is intentional, not a bug.

Yep. Even Hand Clap, will do damage with Fiery Embrace.
