Can't Create VEATs

I'm unable to create Arachnos Widows or Spiders on the Virtue or Freedom servers despite having gotten villains past 20. My villains are currently Rogues. Does turning rogue disable a character from 'counting' toward your ability to create the VEATs? Do I have to keep at least one character as a Villain in order to keep these ATs unlocked?

Occasionally CoH will forget if you have the EATs unlocked or not, so logging into an appropriate hero/villain will fix that issue... have you tried logging into your 20+ rogue just to make sure? It's also possible that Rogues/Vigs don't count towards EATs, which is probably an oversight.

You can't create Arachnos Soldiers in Praetoria. Although if it is in Rogue Isles, then I don't think having only Rogues would change anything since as far as most features in the game is concerned, Rogue=Villain.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

Just to cover all the bases, you can't create EATs (hero or villain) if your over-level-20 character is originally from Praetoria, regardless of their alignment once you leave Pretoria. (There is a "Epic Archetypes Unlocked" message when you get to level 20 with a Praetorian, but it seems to be coded to appear when any character hits 20, and doesn't actually unlock anything)

I had a similar problem creating a HEAT, I had several lvl 20+ heros no 50s but none had leveled since the change from 50 to 20 was put in the game. I got on the character that was closest to leveling and ran a few missions and when it leveled up they unlocked

Thanks guys.

I have two characters who started as Villains who are currently over level 20 (they are 50 and 39). One went Rogue, one went Hero. I logged the Rogue in and out and it looks like the issue fixed itself.
