High Regen and HP cap on SS/WP with soft capped D

After reading Novella's post about regen rate for her/his SS/WP I've got my own question(s) about SS/WP's. I'm just coming back to my SS/WP after at least a 2 yr slumber (altitis has kept me elsewhere) and I was wondering if there are any SS/WP builds out there that have close to capped regen or capped (is this even possible?), soft capped D and capped HP out there and wouldn't mind sharing how you got it. As I posted in Novella's post, I have been able to get 80.4 regen rate, 2652 HP and 34-38% on all def -Psionic.

The main reason I ask this is so I can tough it out against the mobs that have -def powers like Arachnos, LB and w/e else comes my way. Thanks in advance.

Capped regen cannot be done on any type of WP solo and capped HP cannot be done on WP brutes solo.

Capped HP would be 3212 and with 5x every HP bonus out there and all the +HP accolades you would max out at 2838 and that is with 6 heal IOs in HPT. Anything over 2600 HP is quite respectable.

Because I was asked to share my build and it was too large to PM, I'm posting the build that I currently have and the one I made up last night trying to get to the HP cap with higher regen. *Edit* In the 1st build I actually do Plan on using 3 Apoc's for the Reg and HP gain. I don't have the loot atm and the Ruin pieces were cheap. It was the damned salvage pieces that got me *Edit*

Now the other build. With as much recovery as this build is getting, I'm wondering if I even need the Perf Shif procs at all and maybe could take them out and put them into Punch for a DMG% and KoB for more reduction numbers. Or even put the 2 slots back in that I took out of Hasten. Which might be a better idea. I was actually amazed that I was even able to keep relatively the same Def numbers with all the switching around I did.

OK I got unlazy. Another correction as well. I forgot about the ranged and pet purples that have HP bonuses. You can have 2 ranged attacks depending on your primary and 1 pet so adding those in there and the Spiritual Core, the most I was able to come up with was 3008.45. That is theroetical cap. It would be a pretty gimp build offensivly if you actually attained that many HP.

Awesome, thanks for posting the build
..just looking at it now and all I can say is: Wow thats alot of recovery for health AND endurance.

P.Shifters are essential equal to .2 end/s. You have 5.0 , so with them it is 5.4. That is quite high, and you could drop them in favor of moving a slot to Rage and Hasten so they recharge faster. With a T4 alpha, Hasten only needs 2 level 50 common Recharges to have 99% recharge in the power (more, but for simplicity's sake that works). Rage will be up faster, meaning you get to deal more damage longer, and experience less of a crash (I don't know the Rage mechanics that well, but I know having permanent Rage is better than not having it lol).
Other wise the build looks good, inspirations drop often enough that you can always be capped to defenses anyways.

You could aim just for capping defenses [or get to 44.99 to S/L like I did for the build I plan to use on Stone/WP] , keep similar slotting in the WP toggles resulting in higher regen/second and just aim for recharge instead of max health. If you are capped, having lower health won't matter as much considering enemies that utilize S/L will have only a 5% chance to actually hit you. But that's just my opinion there.

Thanks for the advice. I had always felt that Rage was under slotted but couldn't think of a slot to take to give it higher rchg.

As far as the other points, I'm pretty well set with keeping them the way they are. I had a def/high rchg build b4 and felt that something was missing. When I respecced after i19 I was determined to make it better. I feel like I did. The build handles almost everything that comes across it with the obvious exceptions of -def baddies and some -res or a combo of the 2.

I actually made another build yesterday where I took out SoW (I never really use it anyways and only lose F/C def) and put in Laser Beam Eyes for even more reg/hp. I think that was mentioned in either this post or the post that Novella started. I would now only have 30% F/C def, but I can live with that.
