More Debt=More Shards?

I did an ITF last night. Several of the players leveled up during the Task Force...indicating that they were not (originally) 50s. We defeated a lot of foes; it was something more than a speed run but less than a full clear.

I got four shards. Not particularly shard-rich, IMHO.

Posi in the LRSF once gave me three shards. I was pretty flabbergasted when I saw that.

Anyway, I am pretty sure the ITF is so shardilicious is because it has a plethora of EBs, who in turn have a higher drop-chance for shards than bosses and below, as well as six AV fights, counting Romulus Nictus as four. With so many enemies with a higher drop-chance you can naturally get more shards in less time than other TFs.

The RNG being a cruel deity who will smite you if you don't sacrifice enough goats, though, you'll sometimes just get nothing.

There is no 'more shards' or 'less shards'. There are only 'some shards' and 'none shards'. Be at peace.

Inf given in missions isn't really that much. I think it's more of an ego effect. The bigger the debt, the more it reminds the player that they failed.
