Some comments from a trapper:

Acid mortar will take the achilles heel -res proc.

I'd personally want a lot more recharge in acid mortar, it's one of the core trapper powers and I like to have 2 down at once.

Poison gas trap accepts the lockdown %chance to hold proc, which is spectacular.

Are you planning to use time bomb or is it just a set mule?

You're probably going for a set bonus in caltrops but the ragnorok KD proc works very well there, also a good spot for damage procs.

Yea I kinda ran out of slots when it came to Acid Mortar, I went out to Softcap to all positions. Then I went for recharge, pretty set on the slotting for Poison Trap, but I am aiming for recharge Alpha so that will effect both Acid Mort, and if I remove 1 recharge IO from PT for the lockdown proc the alpha may compensate.

I am hoping to use Time Bomb too, plan will be to toe bomb, Setting PT first,Timebomb, Acid Mort then Trip mine and hopefully get my timing to a point that Trip and Time Bombs hit at the same time... I love the time bomb animation, the blast is huge... and no-one uses it so i wanna perfect it

I guess I could steal 1 of the recharge IO'd from Hasten and place it into Catrops for the KD proc... or to put the Achillies into Acid.






Oh and another question, when in power customization how do you change the colour of the Gas from Poison trap, everything I change it to if not the original is kinda white... original is obvious dark and quite strong a colour but changing it doesn't seem to show up the new colour at all.. oO

Just something to chew on ...

Each Seeker Drones can be slotted up to ~ a 10% ToHit debuff -- and Siphon Insight includes some tasty set bonuses. SD also have a potent -damage debuff which is rather effective against AVs. You can leverage the ToHit debuff to cover any gaps in your defense and also use them to eat aplhas. They're also fun to use in order to pull second (or third) spawns into your "traps zone"; the mobs that charge at you after after the Drones explode come pre-debuffed.

FWIW, I'd simply remove Time Bomb from your build, take the ST immob (it's also effective against AVs for its -recharge component), and use the slots elsewhere in your build. Time Bomb sounds great, but, in reality, few people have ever consistently found good use for it.

Well if you manage to make timebomb useful be sure to brag about it on the forums, that would be unprecedented.

Your defense capped which is really nice.

I will tell you this from my personal experience with my Sonic Traps Corruptor which is also defense capped. I have Time Bomb and when it goes off its pretty darn nice. I can place it down more then persay a blaster with devices because the defense cap just about lets me drop the bomb at will. The issue is the length of the placement. If I have too many mobs on me it can really be difficult to place the time bomb because something usually squeaks in and interrupts placement. If that was the only issue it would be great, but the endurance loss is a pain. If you fail several times your just wasting time and endurance.

I would consider switching Time bomb with Neutron bomb which is another AOE attack which of course is more reliable.

The Kaboom from Time bomb is great but if I had some other AOE attack to replace it with I probably would. But as Sonic Traps Corruptor there was not much from me to go with and I am not going with Dreadful Wail because it will drop my toggles. It is just a risk I am not willing to take

I have Neutron bomb already, i did change around the slotting a little. I dropped the PbAoe Stun from epic and put a -tohitt set into Seeker drones instead,7.5% rch instead of 10% but saved about 500 mil and took the Pbaoe +end instead with a single Acc, no need for any more it's a route to the res and other dark powers.

Added the +2 Mag Lockdown to my poison trap, so with that and 4 damage procs it's probably the best power I have, also switched a few single slots about to get 4 in Acid Mortar for the Acc/Rech IO's and an Achillies.
