it all depends, do you want hero side or villian side, what zone or do you want a 1v1 for arena. Be specific on what you want and people can reply with builds and advice.
Well I am new in PvP so I don't know anything about arenas and such except that you can get very good drops in PvP. Also, I would prefer a hero, but like I said, I would like to know which are the strongest players in PvP that don't die so easily and kick ***.
well solo you want a stalker with stealth cap phase and hiber - or make a km/regen scrapper or any tank close to hp cap if you don't want to die -
Psi/em are the dmg dealers for hero side/ mind fire doms vill side
you will die in zones unless it is vastly uneven and one side is camping your base - and you're on that side. teaming helps a lot.
Thank you so much for the info. I'll try to make a mind fire dom since a lot of other posts suggest to make that toon. Please post any build that you think are good. Try not to be too pricey. My question is should PvP toons have high defense and resistance because other builds for PvP have low defense and resistance but high regeneration and stamina. Should i also get perma hasten? Thanks all for feedback.
Defense is pretty useless in PVP. If you go with melee go with a regen or resist set and be sure to take tough as the bonuses there are applied to all resists, not just S/L in pvp. Also perma hasten is not possible in PVP as there is an enforced 60 second down time between uses.

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.

They are good toons dont misunderstand, but they take a certain amount of skill and knowledge, not to mention money to build, to play correctly or you will might be sleeping on the pavement alot.
We learn by dirt naps so not alls bad hehe, just dont want you to be dissapointed and not pvp anymore. The more the merrier
I'd go with regen scrapper or almost any stalker, stalkers with phase can escape most situations ..
This will allow you to watch "hidden" alot and see whats going on around you, learn a few things while running from the gank squads lol "joking"
With some advice on build a tank is an excellent 1st choice because of the larger hp points u have some survivability.
I started pvp wit stalker years ago, found it at the time to be best to learn and watch. Nothing wrong with sitting around watching what others do

Edited ... Defense is not useless in pvp while added accuracy now does plow through low defenses .. the melee toons that use defense like stalkers can be quite good depending on how you build it. Elude type powers still are very good, keep in mind no build not resist or def will save you if its 10 vs 1 u r going down lol.
Defense on defenders, blasters, doms, corrs.... well the lowe defenses u r capable of r not ver good, resist sheilds are the better road and real easy to cap.
You will learn more about builds and what works and what doesnt as you experiment and go along .. some good stuff to know ..
Health Points = higher the better try and cap this
Obviiosly regen and recovery is imprtant same as pve .. in pvp u have some people who will try and sap ur end so becareful if ur a heavy end user.
Resistance is the beter choice for most toons not all. but tough from fight pool is good on all toons.
Recharge rate try and cap this
Damage for most builds should be up there, unless your a healer or buffer and trying to play more support .. Becareful alot players do nothing but go after support because they are afraid to attack a tank or brute lol half a joke but there are some lazy people want nothing but quick easy kills
Price .. ive made some very playable toons with reg io sets, no purps or pvp sets, you would be surprised what u can get away with for reasonable money

This is my first time playing PvP, and I die instantly with my fire/sd scrapper once I start attacking people. Does anyone know which are the strongest or best powers to choose to be a good PvP player. If anyone has builds for their PvP toon, please post it. Thank you all for the feedback.
