Mission: Master of the Apex Task Force - Alpha Strike & Master of the Tin Mage Mark II Task Force - The Praetorian Offensive
Contact: Apex & Tin Mage Mark II
Location: Rikti War Zone (there are usually multiple zones, so please go to RWZ-2)

Date & Time: Saturday, February 12 @ 10:30PM Eastern / 7:30PM Pacific

Level Range: 50

Villains: Praetorian Guard, Praetorian Clockwork, Malta Operatives, Praetorians, WarWorks, Imperial Defense Force

Arch-Villain(s)/Hero(es)/Elite Bosses: Battle Maiden, Director 11, Goliath War Walker (x3), Neuron, Bobcat

Task Force Info & Stats:

  • These Task Forces requires an 8-person team to start & each member must be Level 50 & have his/her Alpha Slot Unlocked & Slotted
  • 2 missions + 3 missions
  • Apex TF Badge(s): Weapon Master & Master of Apex's Task Force (no guarantees :smirk: ) for earning the following badges:
  1. Drone Protector: Do not let any Police Drones be defeated
  2. Burden Bearer/Arms Length: Do not revive/recharge any of the Police Drones
  3. Already Dead: Defeat Battle Maiden in under 15 minutes
  • Tin Mage TF Badge(s): Alpha Struck & Master of Tin Mage's Task Force (no guarantees :smirk: ) for earning the following badges:
  1. Hacker: Destroy the War Walkers before the security team can be activated
  2. Midnight Dodger What Dodges at Midnight: Take no damage from Director 11 proximity mines
  3. Kitty's Got Claws: Defeat Bobcat
  4. Army of Neu: Defeat a small army of Neuron's Clones
  • Merit Reward: 40 + 40
  • Incarnate Shards: 2 + 2
  • This TF is open to both Heroes & Villains
Mr E-Man’s MoApexTF Mission Notes:
  • General Instructions: Stick together & follow instructions. Always let the Tank/Brute grab aggro first – even before debuffs. Don't be shy to offer opinions/strategies.
  • Mission One - Part One: Hit the Pylons from range - clean out the sewers.
  • Mission One - Part Two: DO NOT touch any glowies! PullI everything to the bottom of the steps so AoEs do not hit the drones. Pull new mobs down the steps as they spawn
  • Mission Two - Part One: Clear the ambushes & gather before heading down. Timer only counts when Battle Maiden is on screen.
  • Mission Two - Part Two: Hit Battle Maiden with everything we have Shivans/Nukes/HVAS etc. When the Blue Spam hits under your feet - MOVE! Quickly clear the ambushes when Battle Maiden runs (timer stops for this phase). Kill enough & Battle Maiden returns. More Blue Spam - keep going at Battle Maiden with everythng we have until we take her down.
  • This is a most definitely a work in progress.

I tested it out last night on a Khan TF. We finished it in about 25 mins :-) Still a bit tender but thats what pain killers and beer are for...

Something else that may help take down BM a bit faster was a Envenom Dagger temp power.

This week I plan on dragging my hvac out as soon as we zone into the door. Where I hadn't done the TF before, I didn't realize that BM would be *right there* when we zoned. Then all the issues with the blue goo started happening.... so this week, drag the hvac out first, debuff BM, and then run around the map trying not to die (and thus killing the Hvac) (oh, and rezzing E's corpse).

Yeah my rez finger still hurts. :-) I think I will bring Mucho Organto the Earth/TA Controller this time.

Ok - so I have the 3 warburg nukes, a full set of shivans, a full set of amys, an hvas, 3 imps, an envenomed dagger, plus I found some temp shields that were tucked away... (not much time left on them though)

For what it's worth, the blue goo is attracted to players, so as long as nobody goes near the HVAS, there should be no reason for the "blue goo" to come down upon them and kill them.

So if we drop the pets & move, maybe attack from range (but constantly moving) we should be mostly OK.
