I'd say griefing, there's plenty of space to drop the Ouro Portal that isn't on the mission door.

Sometimes I wish there was a slash command to enter a mission door if you are within range, similar to /requestexitmission....

It's the second, larger door over. The one that looks more like a mission door than the others, just FYI.
