The Sentinels are a Brother and Sisterhood of mature adults aged 18+, united in a desire to cooperate, enjoy and assist each other in a shared MMO gaming experience. The Sentinels can be found in many of today's most popular online games with plans to continue to move into other highly-anticipated games as well to meet the desires and needs of our membership.
We have now opened a City Of Heroes division and are now looking for new members and some special folks to be officers. I am especially looking for those that have previous leadership experience to help set up events such as TF's, Trials, CC's, etc... and to help maintain ranks in both SG's, as I will be going back and forth between servers. I need 2 people to be my left and right hands.

Name: Westbrook Academy For Metahumans
Currently Recruiting: We will be taking applications from August 1st to August 15th. We recruit differently than most groups preferring to get a batch of new members every few months to give them time to get acclimated with the group.
RP Level: We are a medium to heavy RP group. Our SG Channel, team chat and local are all treated as IC space. The only OOC chatter here should be for clarification. We have a separate global channel for OOC communication. In addition to this we have over arcing story arcs. These story arcs are group wide events that effect all characters in the group in some way. We also focus on long term effects and consequences from IC actions. This is not a group to go flying by the seat of your pants but as such becomes a very strong cohesive RP environment.
PvP Level: We have no PVP focus.
Theme/Concept: Westbrook Academy is a private secular high school founded by the late William Westbrook (a former hero who died in the Rikti Invasion). It focuses on the every day lives of teenagers who are dealing with the abilities they have. In addition to all of the normal problems a teenager faces there is also the additional challenges of being a part time licensed hero.
We have a serious RP style which is melded with a traditional (and often goofy) comic book world. In a city of heroes powers are common place. The lunch lady might be a mad scientist and the janitor might be an ex super villain. This doesnt mean that the characters or the stories they have to tell are goofy in fact its just the opposite. In our world we take a very realistic approach to our characters and the consequences for their actions. The idea is to create an interesting dichotomy by taking a comic book world seriously. For comic references I recommend Top 10 or Astro City.
Lastly Westbrook is a low powered SG. For the most part we are just teens with powers who patrol. There is no room for demigods, supermen, or otherwise extremely powered individuals in this group as it would break our over-arcing story arcs.
Activity: We have a medium sized and very active player base. Prime time for our group is typically between 9:00 PM and 1:00-2:00 AM EST most nights. There will always be at least a few people on during these times but often as many as 15 or 20.
Requirements for Membership: We ask that you sign up on our website. We have a formal process for handling applications which can be found here. Keep in mind that the SG as a whole is low powered and as such your character should be designed to fit. Your character must also be a high-school student.

Name: The Derelict
Theme/Concept: We are the crew aboard the derelict starship CMF Rho Majoris. We work closely with Earth's defense forces to protect the planet and fund the reconstruction of our ship. SG members are considered enlisted crewmembers and registered heroes.
Currently Recruiting: We are currently accepting new members of all types and leadership. We are also looking for sci-fi and heroic roleplay Supergroups for coalition.
RP Level: RP-intensive. We have an OOC channel for discussion, all conversation is considered IC when not in brackets. We promote roleplay on our forums. OOC gameplay activity is allowed.
PvP Level: Undefined. We do not currently have an SG-based PvP initiative.
Activity: We are currently down to a skeleton roster, coming out of hibernation. We are anxiously looking to rebuild and reach active momentum once again.

Requirements for Membership: Must be interested in active roleplay of a science-fiction nature, and wish to play aboard the crew of a starship. Must be a registered hero unless a compatible roleplay justification dictates otherwise. No activity requirements, as the supergroup is currently coming out of stasis.

This gathering was never seriously considered until recent events.
“For the Core!” Atlas Sentinel exclaimed over the PA microphone out front of city hall in Atlas Park.
“HOOUAAAH!” Multiple Sentinels and other Heroes replied sharply.
Due to strange readings being gathered across Paragon City. An eminent threat had been detected and it is predicted to have devastating results. A group of average heroes came together in fear of impending doom and formed an alliance. They called themselves “The First Sentinels.” In memory of previous fallen heroes and comrades.
A decree was launched on a free flowing frequency to anyone with a Hero Registration card; with it they could hear as well as the crowd gathered out front of city hall.

“Heroes, today is the beginning of a new era here on Primal Earth. We face our toughest challenge yet. It cannot be determined when it will start but let us assure you it IS coming! It has been determined that a portal has been opened and darkness is about to devour this reality as we know it. We challenge you all to take up arms once again and become a member of the Core. Become A Sentinel! Make your families proud and help your fellow brothers and sisters! It is a time for togetherness! Divided we fall, together we stand!”
Sentinel Prime preached and as he finished he scanned the crowd with an expression of pride in his face. He never expected such a big turnout.

I’m really excited about all the new stuff and the opportunity for great stories and role-play that will be available. We are small right now but we’re growing every day. We have two bases, our main base is still under construction but our secondary had all the goodies, teleporters, crafting station etc. Our website is under construction I believe and we also have a talented artist. The great thing about this sg, is that any hero can fit in. There are no requirements really except the ability to get involved in rp from time to time. Uniform is optional but is highly approved by members. We farm too. We can talk about farming later. Just be active and respectful is all that we ask.

Any Praetorian-strictly SGs (preferably Resistance alligned) out there?
I have this character but with how sparse Praetorian content is at the moment and likely wont get a boost until FREEDOM, haven't seen an SG pop up that caught my eye. Any recommendations if there are any? Otherwise if people are interested, I'd love to shoot some ideas around to any who would listen
