Getting S/L defense capped will deflect a number of those Mez shots at you. But I don't know from experience whether that will be better than IW or not, especially for a solo and/or farming build.

I went Psi as well, but just keep two things in mind:
1. You'll need a fat chunk of global recharge to get IW perma.
2. Setting IW on autocast means you wont have Hasten on Autocast, and vice versa. I went with IW autocasting, but now I just have to remember to manually kick off Hasten.

Think I've decided on psi... holds, sleeps, stuns suck bad when you're in the middle of a pack without toggles. Will still have 20-25% positional defense, so not terrible... I just hate not having my beloved fissure.
