Costume pieces I hope to see added.

1. I made a panda (quite creative use of gear) and it has no tail and it looks sad. Could you find the time in your super busy schedule, to introduce a bear tail to the character creation? Pretty please?
(And before you suggest it, my s.o already suggested the bunny tail, but it's way to fluffy to pass as a bear tail.)

2. Are long skirts to difficult to create and introduce into the character creation? The exact type would be a-line, ankle/floor length with a thigh/knee high slit up the side.
It would take me to so many new character creation places, if I could have a fancy dress skirt.

Bonus Question: Can we have more laser sight coloring options on our guns? I keep using the same set, as they are the only set that can have a dark barrel and a color (selection by me) laser.

I absolutely loves this game and it's multitude of creative possibilities. Thank you! :-)

1) Possible and who knows what is in the forthcoming Animal booster pack.

2)Long Skirts are easy to create (heck the Tsoo have Robes) BUT (and it's a big one) the way the game does skirts at the moment (they're stuck to the side of the legs, not an object on their own) floor length skirts would look horrible with something like Martial arts since the middle fabric would stretch in an unsightly manner.

However there have been possible hints that we might be seeing them soon...but I wouldn't hold your breath on it until Noble Savage confirms it himself (rather than deciphering the ramblings of Jay).

Bonus Question: Basically the way the system works is that you can either have a gun that can be coloured OR a colourable laser sight..unfortunately you can't have both.

Long skirts and robes do exist in the game, but only on NPCs.

Why?

Because they can tailor an NPC to only have certain powers, while players are free to take any powers they like. That would mean those skirts, with the way they work, would look horrible on a character who uses Martial Arts, or really any power that has an animation dealing with the legs.

Go watch a CoT mage or Tsoo Sorcerer sometime, and pay attention to how little they actually move their legs. Hell, Carnie Illusionists don't even HAVE legs.

We didn't get long skirts because the game engine doesn't really have a way to make them not look like crap.

Correct, and it isn't even JUST our engine that has the issue. If you look at EQ2 "robes" carefully, they're really just baggy pants that clip into a "cape-like" same-colored piece hanging down across the middle. In SWG, the princess-leia-style bikini bottom skirt stretches just like described here when kicks are performed. Other games limit robes to classes that can't kick just to avoid this bad appearance.

It would look very bad with the existing tech...

<joking>... but... now that we have combat-specific auras, hmm.... well, if we could expand the tech to costume pieces... we could have a long dress that, when combat mode is entered, is replaced with a shorter, torn-looking one. Maybe accompany it with a ripping sound and some incomprehensible female-voiced cursing. </joking>

Honestly? It doesn't look as bad as I thought it might.

So...I'd say it should be feasible. Given how quickly the animations are over, as well. But hey.

Thank you all for your responses. I never thought the stretching would be an issue, since it happens in game with other items, that it was just a mechanic. :-P I guess I tend to over look things, pah. I just hoped it'd be a possibility for costumes, without much fuss.

Admittedly, I never get a good look at the Tsoo, since they're either enveloped in a storm or I'm running to fast to get away from them. haha

That stinks about the gun color mapping though, oh well. :-)
