I've been unable to connect on my computer or on my phone.

I feel dirty, I used the old wikia site when I needed some badge info a few minutes ago.

ParagonWiki seems to go through downtimes now and then, I wouldn't worry about it unless it's down for more than a day.

I connected just fine.

In the hour since the posts above, I guess it all worked itself out.

The ParagonWiki server has daily maintenance in the middle of the night where it will be down for a short bit (less than an hour). And yesterday, the host had some problems and it was down unexpectedly.

So are the servers down for maintenance right now? CoHTitan isn't working for me.

Yeah, that's the time for the daily maintenance where it backs up all the data (and there's a LOT of data, believe me, given CIT and whatnot)... It's something like 5 AM EST, and I know for a fact that it should be finished by 6 AM EST (there's a job that runs every day at that time to make certain the server is up).

I've noticed that anything related to the Titan Network will sporadically stop loading for some time, usually in the middle of the day (EET), but it usually resumes loading shortly thereafter. I wouldn't worry unless the problem lingers.

We do have a daily maintenance window from 10:00 - 11:00 UTC (5:00am - 6:00am US Eastern). During that window, we do a complete backup of the live databases. We kill the web services during the backups so that the system can complete them quickly and without interference from queries running continuously. We picked that time frame due to it being the slowest time of day according to monitored use of the sites.

The particular outage during the OP's message was actually due to an attempt to modify a table to improve performance. It ended up taking more resources than we thought, and caused the SQL service to gum up for a while. Sekoia was on top of it and killed the job and restarted the service quickly to restore the functionality of the sites.

We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
