Dual accounts and referral bonus

I would like to set up a second account to flesh out my SG memebership.
I would also like to refer myself and get the 'free' month.

Has anyone done this? (and could they break it down into how they did it please -small words if you could)

Do you need to refer someone on a different email? A different payment plan, ie not the same paypal or debit card? A different pc?

Sure there were more questions as I thought about it.

Yes, it works. I sent the code to a second email address, but I don't know if that's necessary. I paid both accounts with the same credit card, and used both on the same PC.

It's really no different than sending the code to a friend for the first half, and recieving one from a friend in the second half.

I don't think the e-mail address does any type of account checking at all anyway. It simply provides a destination for the code you are sending. I sent my referral codes to my own e-mail address (the same one I use for my main account), and have been able to get the free time associated with it.

I've done the Refer-a-friend, as well as the Invite-a-friend-back a few times. The account receiving the codes is even under the same master account, and they have the same payment method.

Log into your account at ncsoft.com and click on your CoH account, and then you'll find the appropriate link on the right hand side to "refer a friend". Enter your own e-mail address. Check your e-mail. Then simply "Use a Serial Code" on your ncsoft.com page and add the new game account. Enjoy!

I just want to point out that the new account might be a Trial and not able to join your supergroup, so you'll still have to upgrade that account to a retail version to get those benefits of a second account, but you'd have to upgrade to get the bonus time on your main account anyway.

If you buy a retail code from a local store, log into your ncsoft.com account and click on your new game account (important that you don't click on your main one) and click "Upgrade Account" and add the retail code.

If you are buying the retail code form the online store, just make sure you apply it to the right game account after purchase. If you didn't put your second account under the same ncsoft account, make sure you are logged into the right one before purchase because it's non-transferrable.

I set up my second account a long time ago, so the details escape me, but I believe it was as simple as that. I got a trial code from the NCSoft site online, used the same email address as my main account, and placed them both under my same NCSoft billing account. I'm pretty sure I got the free month for the referral, so it worked fine.

I would check store.steampowered.com and see if they have any deals going on. I did the refer a friend to my own e-mail and set up a second account with the Architect Edition that I got for $9.99. Then I did the invite back when GR went on sale at best buy.
