It is consistently good. Keep watching. I'm anxious for the second half of the season to start, which I believe is this Thursday.
As well as Parks and Recreation which had a rocky 1st half of the first season but is now really good.
And 30 Rock is always excellent.

Silly, funny, goofy, smart and full of meta humor. There are a few of us around here that have crowed about it's virtues from the beginning. The minute long Troy and Abed stuff at the end of episodes is funnier than most full length sitcoms. Great, great stuff.

Community is an excellent show. The writers really understand the characters, as do the actors and they keep the characters consistent. It's silly, it toys with the fourth wall but it's got some poignant moments too.
Season 1 is solid through out, the whole season is consistently entertaining.
Season 2 is a little hit and miss for me so far, some episodes being far better than others, though in the more recent episodes I feel like they got their swing back a bit.
Honestly this year I've loved NBC Thursday nights, Community, The Office, 30 Rock and Outsourced, all funny shows. though I felt the Office was a bit hit and miss so far this season too, imo, but again hoping for the second half to be a little better.
