reticle powers (rain of fire, sleet, etc)

When I use powers like sleet and rain of fire on my cold corruptor, about half the time the reticle has trouble following my mouse and prevents me from placing sleet. This has only started happening in the past month or so. The interesting thing is that if I log into my girlfriend's account and use her cold, I don't have the problem. Could it be some in game option that is different?

When you tested with your girlfriend's character you were still using the same computer you play your character on, correct? If so then it could well be a settings problem.

I'm not sure which setting ti would be but a simple test would be to use the export/import settings commands to copy your girlfriend's settings to your character and see if that fixes the problem.

I would love to know which setting it was. On my Ice/Storm controller, I have this issue with all my location based powers and haven't changed my settings in years. I took a stroll through the options but nothing jumped out at me as something that would affect the location target reticle.

So I went through 1 by 1 changing all the settings back to my original settings, but the problem never happened again. I'm quite confused.

There's a couple settings that can't be changed from the options window, and must be set via a slash command. Perhaps you came across one of those on the forums and used it, but never reapplied it this time around?

That's possible. I use /maxinactivefps 1. But I have that in my coh shortcut, so it's still occurring now. I also use /camdist 300 for hami raids, I'll try that when I get home and see if it does anything.
