Casual Fire/Kin player respec: pool choices
The choices you're describing sound a lot like what I've done with mine. I do tips sometimes, run AE arcs where I might be facing just about anything, or just regular story arcs... So having the mez protection helps a lot. And I don't have a truly incredible amount of defense (20-30 on most, with a big spike in psi due to IW), but it cuts down quite a bit on the damage I take from the stuff Flashfire misses. With good endurance reduction slotting it isn't too bad, as long as I don't screw up on Transference too much. (Mainly due to targeting an enemy that dies before I get the recovery. Part of why it's important to use Transference before things get critical.)
Of course, Indomitable Will is a long-recharge click, so if you want that mez protection regularly, it helps to min-max a bit...
On trollers with Psionic Mastery, I usually do this;
Tough - 3 Steadfast Protection - Mids says its 18.92% on Smashing/Lethal resistance.
Mind over Body - 5 Impervious Skin - Mids 37.56% S/L resistance + 27.32% in Psionic.
So for only six slots, your actually over the soft cap with some KB protection and a little Status Resistance ( and +5 % recharge set bonus).
And I skip Weave, unless I need a mule for a LoTG Globe recharge.
With Indomitable Will, one of my trollers got its recharge down to 83 seconds.

Don't you know that discussion of power selection/slotting can ONLY be based on hearsay, rumor, idle speculation, and bald-faced lies??!? ~Elf_Sniper
I've started my fire/kin after a long break and I think she needs a respec. I have the basic build, but now that the fitness pool is free I was wondering about Tough, Maneuvers, Weave, etc.
My play style is casual - not a farmer. I solo even-con missions and like to team, so I am not a min-maxer.
So, with that in mind, is it worth it to layer Maneuvers, Combat Jumping, and Weave and heavily slot them? Seems like a lot of slots and endurance drain - not sure if it is worth it.
What about epic - a lot of people said go Psi for the mez protect armor - yes?
Thanks for any advice.
