Good APP/PPP for MA/WP lvl 50 scrapper? More AoE needed...

Im so lost, I dont know what to choose...
I would like some extra AoE attacks, since MA only have one with dragon tail.
Tried Weapon mastery and didnt like it, and dont need Body mastery since the secondary is WP and Im going to slot the Incarnate cardiac.
What about dark? I think it comes with 3 AoE/Cones.
Anyone got a suggestion?

I'd say if you need to save on power picks then take the AoE from Mu Mastery. If you don't, take Fireball from Blaze Mastery.

Yep Fireball if you don't want too spend two powers for it; go Ball of Lighting only need to take 1 power to get it

This. Either of these sets will up your aoe abilities big time. Plus, I believe one of the incarnate levels will be offering a new aoe attack.

I thought for MA that ball lighting was better than fireball. Because with the added crit chance ball lighting did more damage because fireball crits don't count the dot damage after the fact. I could be wrong though. I use Ball Lighting on my ma/sr, but if Fireball does more damage I might switch some stuff up.

Fireball has a slightly faster animation casting time, but Ball Lightning has -Endurance. Both of those small advantages for me get filed under nice to have, but ultimately don't have any weight on my decision to pick either.

Ball Lightning and Fireball both have a DoT component. Ball Lighting DoT is guaranteed, I think. I do believe that even without the DoT on Fireball, said power is still superior.

I think when it crits, ball lighting does more damage than fireball does. So on a MA after EC ball lighting is better

I'm getting unenhanced Damage values of Ball Lightning at 95.72 (including the DoT) and Fireball at 127.31 (without the DoT). It is from that which I see Fireball as the superior damaging AoE. Mids might have those values wrong though.

Thats not the numbers I'm seeing in game on respec screens. Maybe from blaster numbers there.
