Today, my Warshade nekojin alien Felicia Concolor hit 50
And her theme song: "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse
I can see you're tilting your head sideways... OK explanation time...
So I was struggling for a concept for Felicia as I usually do with all my cat-people, because, well, how do you explain the unusual sight of a being that looks like a cat but walks like a human being in a city populated by humans.
Anyway, Muse was playing in the background while I was pondering this and it hit me. I thought, "Hmm... OK... so she's a knight... from the planet Cydonia... I like it!"
Anyway, her name Felicia Concolor is based on the old species name for Puma (which used to be Felis concolor until like a decade ago, then they decided to make Puma it's own Genus and changed the name.)
