Can not place more then 1 power generator

do you still have the small combo generator? that counts as one.
Ignoring anyone is a mistake. You might miss something viral to your cause.
Actual names for the plot and rooms would help more to figure out if you are on the right track.

You need the energy station 3x3 or larger rooms to support two energy sources.
Now the far-reaching; you're not trying to place the startup combi generator again? You can only have one of these on any plot.
If none of that works; a screenshot or two could help us visualize the problem.

I had that problem too. Put in a ROOM that would accept 2 generator types.
Know what the problem was?
The BASE PLOT. You have to change the base plot type to a SECURE plot type to support multiple generators. When you go into the base, click on "Upgrade Base Plot." You'll notice 2 tabs down at the bottom, one being a Secure plot. The standard base types only supported 1 power generator in my experience. Secure supports 2.

Ive upgraded my plot to a large secure, made sure I had a large power room to support x 2 power generators. For the likes of me, It will not let me place anymore then 1. I have plenty of prestige and made sure I had enough room and plot size. Is this a known bug? Even if I placed another power room with a plot that supports x 2 it still is red and cant place.
