I have a Demon Summoning/Thermal that I really like. Dark is plenty effective, too. Howling Twilight with two Twilight grasps has a steady -regen. Thermal's heal is larger in radius than Twilight Grasp. The resistance shields and aura from your pet are good survival tools. The -tohit in Dark Miasma is heavily resisted by AVs.

This may seem obvious, but I would suggest strongly that you put your two Pet IO set auras in Hell on Earth along with the Recharge Intensive Pet aura. Six-slotting your demons is highly recommended since you need to get some endurance reduction in them.

Hell on Earth can slot the resist and defense auras from both the Pet Damage and Recharge Intensive Pet sets. Slotting all four gives every demon near you +20 resist all and +10 defense to all, and putting them in Hell on Earth means you still have six slots free in all your real pets. That's good, because demons need all the slots they can get. The only thing HoE itself needs is a couple of recharge IOs... the actual mini-pets it summons are distractions to pull aggro, not actual damage dealers so enhancing them is largely pointless.

I've played dark a lot and know what that's like but I've NEVER played Therm. How good is heat exhaustion really?
