First of all, I would like to say thank you to all those who have helped me in the past with this toon.

As the release of Issue 19 has come and passed, I find myself trying to respec my Ice/Ice Tank. The current build i have has incredible durability. He can withstand anything you throw against him and then some. Thats good because his damage is so LOW he has to stand there and take it all day. This respec is designed to give him more damage and better manage his endurance consumption as EA isnt going to be recharging as fast. I would really like some feedback on this build. No little bit is to little. I want this build to be a build I use for quite a while so help me make it right.

Realistically the best you can do is not choose Ice as your secondary lol. It's meant to be lower damage than other sets because you have -recharge, a hold, a sleep and ice patch for extra control at the expense of damage. Fire is the opposite - no extra effects but extra damage instead.

The next best option is to go villain and pick up mu mastery for more AoE attacks and than swap sides back to hero.

The only slotting issue I see is your slotting of CJ is way over board. I would cut the slots from CJ and add 2 to freezing touch for some damage IOs.

I would also 5 slot doctored wounds in Hoarfrost, then move the numina pieces and other slots from CJ into health.


I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.

I agree that Hoarfrost would be better served with 5 Doctored Wounds pieces than the Numina/Harmonized combo. The extra recharge will help.

Frozen Touch, as great as it is as a hold, should be slotted as an attack. Slotting it as a hold does it an injustice, and is also not helping your single-target damage any. FT is one of your biggest hitters, and just so happens to also be a good hold.

I'm a firm believe in slotting Energy Absorption with a combo of Def and EndMod sets, even if you're already at the softcap. Frankenslotting it can get you to the ED caps for EndMod, Recharge, and DefBuff, and you don't lose too much in terms of set bonuses by doing that.


If you slot Hoarfrost with Doctored Wounds, then you can take some of those slots out of Combat Jumping that you've got going for the recharge bonus, and use them in other places where they could be of more use, such as Frozen Touch, some EndRed in Frozen Aura, and maybe putting a damage proc in Chilling Embrace.

I agree with other suggestions; Doctored Wounds in Dull Pain, take some slots out of CJ, and improve the slotting in your attacks and EA. Here's the sort of thing I would do--it has a little less recharge than your build, but all the attacks except Char are fully slotted for damage, which was your main issue, IIRC. Recharge is great, but you won't need as much if your attacks do full damage! Keep in mind, though, that the Oblits have very little end reduction, so FA is underslotted for that. You could replace them with 5 slots of Scirocco's Dervish, which would give you a little F/C def bonus as well, but you'd lose the Oblit recharge bonus.
