Mez Sleep Stun
Is there anyway to beat these with a blaster.
I am running Acrobatics Combat Jumping with 45 s/l/e and still having a hard time with sleeps and stuns. This of drops my defense and I die. Trying to keep up with a electric shield scrapper and this requires me to get there before he does. |

Or bring along a pocket buffer who can preemptively buff you to resist.
You have a few options besides just alter-purples:
One: Defense. If the attack misses, you're not affected by it.
Two: Offense. My main blaster is sonic, I can sleep whole mobs, and quickly stun the bosses. I rarely get mezzed.
Three: Miladys Knight tipped me off that the chance to heal proc in Entropic Chaos can wake you up from sleep, so I have one in my tier 1 attack.
Also, remember you can take breakfrees pre-emptively as they have a duration.

Good luck keeping up with a heavily IOed elec/shield scrapper those things are like wrecking balls on speed.
Yeah very hard to keep up with him Unless I can get their first but then I look like an idiot sleeping on the job while he crackles madly with lighting and laughter.
Do you guys know if there is a bind command I can use to take break frees.
On the same not can I email more than one inspiration at a time.
I don't remember the exact command but there is one that lets you use a specific inspiration. You may want to check the guides to binds in the Player Help section.
As for mailing yourself multiple inspirations, you can indeed. You could keep several Break Frees in email just in case you run out if you want.
Personally I find Ranged defense the best protection from mez unless you are a pure Blapper. Stuns are often melee (except those stupid Malta grenades) but stuns are usually less dangerous because they wear off quick (again, except for Malta) and ideally you won't be meleeing many enemies. Holds and Sleeps are generally ranged, and even if you are using PBAoEs and melee attacks the majority of enemies will be using ranged attacks on you. Well, unless you are a /Fire AoE Blapper... in which case all I can suggest is be sure to take the Fire APP and slot Rise of the Phoenix heavily for recharge.

I also have a build with 45/s/l/e def. I thought most of the mezzes had an energy component and that acrobatics gave enough hold protection for most things? Also when mezzed/held I spam st attacks (and gulp a purple so I am back at cap toggleless).

Raise the difficulty. This will both slow down his killing speed and tend to put more pressure on his defenses. Let him continue to jump in first and get aggro with that good Shield taunt aura. Then pick off the bad guys he's already wounded, rinse, and repeat.
