Difference between 'verify all files' and reinstall?
Instead of 'verify file', you might try a defrag, especially right after a patch/update.

A "defrag" is not a magic "fix all problems" incantation, even though many people treat it that way. It is a solution to the specific problem of files being stored on a hard drive in a way that makes them slow to read. It may fix slow loading times after an update, but it will not fix corrupted files.
I know it's not a magic fix-all. I noticed that after a patch, when I looked at the fragged files in the Defraggler, 90% of them were CoH files. I can only speak from my own experience...there have been a few times after a patch/update that I couldn't log in. Ran the Defraggler and afterwards all was well. If this info can help someone else, I feel it's worth passing along.

If I 'verify all files', and upon trying to login I get problems, will reinstalling give me a different install than the one I've verified? I'm wondering wether to bother uninstalling and reinstalling before petitioning, is why. I've verified all files.
