Wow, I don't really read the boards often, but a 2 page thread on this?
So, I do really appreciate your not revealing my name, but yeah, I was the one offering 40m/level for powerleveling.
My reasons are quite simple, I've played _several characters up to 50; and there are many, many that I abandoned between 30-40. I have experienced almost every TF in the game, a majority of the story arcs and hundreds of other missions.
All my actives are fully slotted up, maxed in def (ranged for squishies and all def + resist - psi for my tank). I have every item in the game I've ever wanted except the gladiator's armor, which till my latest build, I never really felt I'd get a major benefit from.
Other than this, I regularly do about 4-6 TF's every day, and about 10+ on each weekend days along with Hami raids, MSR's etc; my collective wealth is now over 7-8billion. Other than that, I regularly lead TF's (usually half my TF's I lead), have masters badges in most of the more common ones except a MoSTF.
To say the least, I am not exactly a 14 year old who is just so impatient to get a super powerful max level character! Have I experienced 'every' piece of content in the game? No. Do I enjoy playing the way I do? Hell yeah.
So tell me again, what 'exactly' is wrong with me not wanting to take this new AT that I had ALREADY played to 28, gotten a good sense of, and not want to do the grind yet again to 50 - considering I had more money than I know what to do with?
Note: This was red side - I don't have a single friend who is red side; if this was blue, this would not have even been needed.

I do hate constant spam though. A couple months ago I was on another sever. This server, called Not-Virtue, had these messages fairly non-stop at the time. My level two heard about 20,000,000 such announcements (just a guess but it was likely more than that  ) before getting a sewer group and an equal number while training in Atlas. It was like what we all heard during the monkey craze. Only I guess there is no exploit to squash that will put it to rest on Not-Virtue. I have heard the same thing just a couple of time recently here on Virtue. I was wondering if people think about that sort of thing or care. It is hard to gauge what is considered simple courtesy on public channels or what expect from other people. So I asked. Who here filters out Broadcast besides all_hell, Scooby Dont and bpphantom? Is that the answer? BrandX & Stryph Avatar: I just started looking for an avatar. I keep changing it. Which one did you see? Right now it is Elfen Lied. I think I am going to change it again. Not a great show in my opinion and the avatar isn't what I want. I heard the manga is better but have not read it. The one with two girls hefting guns is Full Metal Panic fan art or at least it is not from the anime that I remember. I really liked FMP back in the day. I don't know if it has aged well. I had Red Monika up for a very short time. Large tracks of land, red hair. She is from the old comic Battle Chasers. |
Just FYI, I think the original poster can confirm this - it was about 1 message in broadcast every 3-4 minutes; if that is spam? Geez, turn up your tolerance.
