Save the Rogue Bane Spider in Grandville
So...anyone do this particular hero alignment mission. I have NO CLUE how to finish it. Looked through Pargon Wiki and found nothing. I get to the point that it wants me to "Defeat Two Fortunas" go free the Rogue Bane Spider but uhm...then what...WHAT two Fortunas? It isn't two random ones. If you stand around the guy you are rescuing mob after mob comes at you (no Fortunas though). Are you supposed to take several mobs THEN they throw the "right" Fortuna at you?
There was a two minute time...it ran out while trying to figure out what to do when the mobs started coming. That usually means you can do your task uninterrupted for two minutes THEN you start getting hassled...but WHAT Fortunas? |

Yup. Forum Red Names Arbiter Curry, Kim, Oats, and Kim all show up (which is AWESOME), and then Fortunata Eiffel and Fortunata Whelan spawn up the ramp to Lord Recluse's tower, one to the left, and one to the right.
Note that you don't have to defeat any of the Arachnos between the Longbow Boat and the Bane Spider, other than Arbiters Curry and Kim. Once you've defeated the Arachnos surrounding the Bane Spider, and then the two Fortunatas, the Bane Spider will follow you back to the Longbow Boat and won't get "recauptured". You can ignore the other Arachnos mobs, and lead him to the boat.
Of course, Arbiter Oats will ambush you on the way, but I managed to out run him (without knowing that I was, since I saw his text, but not him).
And Savage Siren, and then Silent Blade show up, along with a few Bane Spider Executioners. I defeated all of them (including Oats) after I lead the Bane Spider to safety and got Mission Complete.
Interestingly, I also had the An Unusual Suspect Tip drop while I was fighting things. It was removed when I exited the mission, though. Darn.

Right, it is a bit of an awkward mish. I think it's easier to clear a path on the way in. The targets spawn in sequential order, so you may have to backtrack to find them. The ambushes are a beast, but the good news is that no one attacked the Spider. Not sure if he's immune, or if I just got lucky.
It is a bit confusing the first time. However, when you get the hang of it, it's pretty simple and can be finished within 5 minutes for sure.
1) Defeat first guy on the ramp
2) Defeat next guy on the ramp near where the Patrons are in the STF (or the fateweaver, trainer for regular Grandville).
3) Defeat mobs by hostage
4) Defeat 2 Forts in the plaza (where towers are in LRSF)
5) Get hostage, walk him back
You can zig-zag on the path back to the Longbow boat to avoid mobs. I use a Scrapper so I don't really bother to zig-zag too much, though it's best to avoid the web nades. A squishy may want to chew a purple/breakfree during the escort.
Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)
I also had Mangle pop up between the Savage Siren and Silent Blade spawning.
I would almost suggest waiting out and killing the bane executioner spawns(the timer launched ambushers) before offing the Fortunatas (in the back of map, behind the statue) to reduce the number of simultaneous ambushers. Of course I was on my squishy emp/rad, ymmv
