There is some good advice in that thread
I do have one question after reading that thread though, since widows don't do as much damage would it be more beneficial to play as a fortunata and not mimic the stalker pvp style?

Here is my Fortunata build that I have finally got right after MANY variations of building a VEAT. I've had a lot of fun with this in zone and is built with arena in mind as well. Maybe you can get some ideas out of it. I should probably read up on the forums that the others have posted. Maybe I wouldn't have had to spend so much on respec recipes.
Fortunatas' doesn't do a lot of damage as LuxonS mentioned. Although, I can force a bad Psi Blaster into backing off or Hibernating most of the time. If I couldn't rely on damage procs, I probably would have given up on it. Rad Blasters? Forget it they eat me for lunch. I notice that Dominate hits for 95% EVERY time. Even against SR Scrappers in Elude. It recharges fast to boot. If you could get Tough into your build it would help tremendously. You're very squishy without it. I tried getting some recovery bonuses along with max hit points.

Hi all, you probably don't know me but I've been playing on and off for 5 years as a PvE focused fire fire tank. I recently got a widow to 50 and I wanted to use this toon to explore the games PvP. I really don't have much experience, all I have really done is bloody bay when it was first released for the pets and RV just to try it out and see how well my tank would do.
What I'm asking from the community is any tips, advice, known issues, or anything I should know about building a widow for PvP. I have never built a PvP toon besides a stalker but could never get into the class enough to get to 50. Right now as it stands I am clueless at what my focus needs to be as a widow and what type of stats I should look for. Well I shouldn't say I'm clueless because I do know psi is many heroes weakness and stealth is almost mandatory. I am really curious as to how confuse and control effects work in PvP because I have heard mixed things. Also a big question of mine is Fortunata or Night Widow?
I have heard the PvP zones matter too, I will have my character built for RV.
