My City Was Gone
A change was made to a glitchy bit of code which meant maps were paying out drops in the same sequence if they were re-set in the same session. You could roll a map until you got rares early on, then just keep re-setting them. Some enemy factions were made to pay out more sensible XP, like the family.
However, since that, no, nothing's changed.
So if I got the demon farm on another toon it would not be on a timer or some such nonsense?
Also, this was suggested to me:
Going Villain and then coming back Hero and reacquire the mission since I did not complete the arc?
would it work?

No popular farm mission has had a timer added since Warwolf world and Dreck.
What you mention in the OP sounds like you're thinking of the changes to Freaks and Family - both had their XP and Inf values reduced in the 45-50 range, becuse they're easier than standard enemies. I don't think Demons were affected.
If you had the Farm on a Vigilante and went to the Rogue Isles, the mission would be removed from your list, and talking to the contact will get it back.
If the mission was completed, even if you hadn't meant for it to be, the GMs cannot fix it - missions are meant to be completed, so they have no reason to have a tool to "uncomplete" a mission.

I remember a long time ago it was said that popular farming maps were going to get nerfs and timers. And by nerfs I mean, xp and drop rates.
The Freakshow map and the demon map are two that immediately spring to mind.
Now, I recall that if you had the farm missions already, nothing would happen to them however if after the patch you acquired the missions then you would get the new and improved(read nerfed) versions of said farms.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Was this all in my head?
Also, concerning the demon mish, I lost mine today...which has led me down this path of rediscovery.
Are popular farm missions in todays CoX (Battle Maiden, Council Empire, etc...) of the sort that have reduced drop rates?
Are reduced drop rates even real?
