Ive had this character since launch and have played it almost everyday. Im putting it up here because many people wanted to take a look at it through mids. I do like the way it plays as a melee dps and tank backup and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions in make it stronger in survivability. This is my current build on freedom.

A couple of things.....
1. First you have 3 self heals isnt that a little over the top with siphon life alone your getting 20% heal every 3.54 secs(with hasten up)
2. Your +hp set bonuses are wasted your 255 hps over the cap once youve activated dull pain.
3. With all those heals why do u need such high regen rate. It seems to me like your building your like a willpower toon.
4. As a invuln toon with an abundance of self heals and end recovery tool I'd prioritize def, recharge and a little recovery with set bonuses.

Here is my i19 build. I have been tweaking this for a long time and this works well for me. Should be even better with i19. YMMV

Features of my build are-
Def- (also notice I get this all the time vs. your 15 seconds of fame on shadow meld)
45% to S/L/N/E
35% to F/C
27% to ranged to help with that pesky Psi

Res-
70.2% to S/L
21-23% to all others except psi

Regen-236%
End- 3.48%

Recharge- 122%

* I hate midnight grasp as it does not thematically work with my build. Also, Fire blast out performs it with fewer slots.
* If you can live without Super Jump you could easily squeeze vengence into the build and another LOTG +7.5% recharge..which I may do.

Oracle, are those numbers in Mid's accurate on Fire Blast?

If you look at the ranged lightning attack in Mu Mastery the numbers are vastly different.

Of course I am not 100% that mids is not glitched but I think my comment about fire blast is on the mark. In real world play, it has very impressive numbers, criticals often, is always recharged and has low endurance cost.

If you subscribe to mids being accurate then:

Mids Unslotted-
Fire Blast unslotted: 21.46 dps and 154.53 dpa (6 second recharge)
Zapp unslotted: 3.76 dps and 140.69 dpa (24 second recharge)
Midnight Grasp unslotted: 11.3 dps and 189.94 dpa (15 second recharge)

Mids 6 slotted with purple (Hecatacomb or Apoc)
Fire Blast unslotted: 84.13 dps and 353.45 dpa (3 second recharge)
Zapp unslotted: 12.83 dps and 324.98 dpa (12 second recharge)

Same here. The numbers look great, but it seems to be a bit of an oddity. The rest of the ranged APP/PPP powers it's either one or the other. The damage is good, but everything else is high, or the damage is low but everything else is low. This seems to have the best of both worlds. Seems too suspicious.

Mu Bolts: 17.45 dps and 125.12 dpa (6 second recharge)
Midnight Grasp unslotted: 11.3 dps and 189.94 dpa (15 second recharge)

Mids 6 slotted with purple (Hecatacomb or Apoc)
Fire Blast: 84.13 dps and 353.45 dpa (3 second recharge)
Mu Bolts: 70.23 dps and 292.92 dpa (3 second recharge)
Midnight Grasp: 43.74 dps and 418.75 dpa (8 second recharge)

I understand DOT but I would still take Fire Blast over Mu Bolts all day long. It has more than 20% more damage. Plus Fireball on an DM/INVULN scrapper is just that good.

It looks like you enjoy using Shadow Maul, which I don't. Can't help you there other than to say you'd probably get a better DPS chain if you didn't include Shadow Maul into your regular attack chain. Where AoE is concerned, I would rather grab Fireball.

Which comes to the next part: With how low your typed Defenses are and the use of Shadow Meld, your character looks like they are built for spiked survivability, rather than consistent survivability.

Which also brings us to the next part, if you have consistently high Defense (like being softcapped with 1 foe in Melee) you wouldn't need Siphon Life and Aid Self. Ever since Siphon Life was boosted in Damage, it is very viable to have that power as part of a high DPS attack chain. It is here that I propose that you slot for Damage first, Heal second, and go for the Spiritual Radial Alpha Boost to do the rest of the Heal enhancing while providing all of your click powers with a very nice dose of Recharge.

This is all I can think of at the moment to give you better survivability and DPS. Hope that helps!

For those who were still interested in Fire Blast's numbers in game:

Fire Blast - Average Damage @L50 - 77.34 (64.45 DPA)

Midnight Grasp - Average Damage @L50 - 172.67 (83.42 DPA)

So Mids' is wrong, it's hard to trust it right now anyways. (Like how it says VEATS can take EPPs)
