From a hard startup keep hitting F8 till you get a dos menu. Should see option at the top of the list to start in safemode.

Hi all I'm back....... still have A LOT of persistent problems. My Browser still has constant pop ups and redirects making even googling answers for my self all but impossible. The good news is I got a portable HD and removed all of my MP3's and personal files off my computer. I think its time to do a complete system reinstall. I believe I have all my original Dell disks however i need help. How do I do this?
Ok, so here's a silly question.......How do I start in safemode. I remember windows95 had an option for it but I'm not seeing it in windows XP.
