See this is the main thing wrong with pvp these days everyone see's a regen kill something or manage to take a hell of a beating and stay up and they wanna roll one i beg you not to make another one! the only reason elec/therms are around is to take the over population of regens down.
I know I will probably really get a kicking for this but I really enjoy my KM/SR scrapper. Although the defence gets dropped loads when in pvp I still enjoy it, its more of a challenge and when you kill someone they dont just call you a noob scrapper with easy mode on haha SR gets the job done when paired with a nice primary, I can take down most regens (as the majority of them are nooby and dont slot right) and corrs i can take down but i have to think more when fighting a therm i really suggest just trying out SR 
SR is pretty rubbish for PvP outside of Elude. The reason so many roll /regen is because it's effective. That's it. You can't fault people for rolling the most effective character possible if their goal is to PvP.
I'm not saying SR isn't fun. I love my SR scrapper. I just keep him to PvE.

There's tons of viable toons you can use. Try posting a list of all the toons you currently have, and we can tell you which ones would work well

BS/SR scrapper
and I have a few I'm working on:

the spines/regin scrapper is probably the one I would say to search for a build for and use(even though I am not a fan of yet another person playing a regin). Make it a villian, run the patron arc, get hibernate and unless you stop breathing you should pretty much never die.

Yeah I figured one of the /regens would be my best bet for something I already have. How are stalkers in pvp now? I was thinking of making a kin/regen, wp or maybe even electric? stalker for pvp, or perhaps an elec/therm corr. I was planning on doing mostly zone pvp, but I haven't really gotten my feet wet yet so I don't know what I'll like.
elec/wp, or spines/wp
wp is easily hp capped with minimal slotting of HPT. There are many /wp builds available in these forums just use some search fu and you will find them.

Stalker primaries don't matter that much, all you really need is AS, Placate, and Sharks. Spines is good for Impale and Elec for Thunderstrike. Claws is another good choice because it has the shortest recharge time on BU.

/elec is a good secondary if you're willing to spend a bit more and actually get accolades.
Hey all, I've been around the game for a while, but I haven't really done any PvP in a couple years. I remember seeing a ton of ice/rad corrs running around and they seemed to fair pretty well, but I guess something has changed because when I asked the sg they just said anything /regen or an elec/therm corr.
I'm was just wondering if you could give me an idea of what can fair well at PvP. Is it a little more well rounded now where most toons can do fairly well if built properly or is it pretty restricted to only a few builds? I've looked around the forum and saw a lot of different build requests and such, but didn't really see anything as general as I was looking for. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
