To be sure, I think I have some pretty compelling characters of my own but honestly
there are some (not mine) that I think about drawing a lot... I look at them and
go damn! why didn't I come up with that?! Chief among them is Caemgen.
He was one of the first that I drew coming off my looong hiatus of no artz and that
drawing has stood the test of time (in that I still really like it 2½ years later).
The great thing is I love seeing him done in a variety of styles (yours included) and K is constantly
commissioning new artz. The rub is that most of said art depicts him having a human-ish
shaped nose (instead of a lion's snout) and doesn't get his horns quite right.
There are days I want to go through his gallery, pick out my favorites and "fix" them
(I wouldn't post them anywhere without permission of course as it would
be unfair/unkind to the other artists). It would probably be great
practice for me to try my hand at so many different styles.
Then I remember he's not even my character.

See I tried to give him kind of a hybrid nose And the horns gave me alot of trouble so I'm just glad they came out at all
The nose is overlooked by many, many artists... And since it's not something I was picky about when I first started getting out, there is so many examples of him with a wrong nose I am reluctant to become picky about it.
As for the horns... They're tough to get right. Even when I have been picky and had artists try several times to get it right, very few can. So on this details it boils down to do I either want to put up for horns which are incorrect or just not get arts of him done... Heck, even on the model sheet they are not perfect and we really discussed them at length for that and still couldn't get them spot on in all the shots. *shrug*
As for fixing pieces... I wouldn't mind but yeah, the individual artists would have to be asked :P But there's a lot of arts no longer in my gallery... I went through a huge purge recently and took out probably 2/3rds of the art. Was feeling bored and there was a plan to reorganize or something... eventually that all may get back in... or not. *shrug*

Oh shush, I love the busts as they are 1) I am far less picky than CR anyway and B) I actually enjoy the unique spin each artist puts on things.

Sorry I haven't drawn much lately. About 2 weeks ago I finally signed a permanent teaching contract AND a lease on a new apt. and JUST moved in (Don't even have a couch in yet!) My computer is only half hooked up atm.

With the double exp weekend coming up, we'll be hosting another fun faire. It won't be as extensive as last time's kill heavy TF commander run (Cami has to spend that friday in teacher meetings and I'm out of vacation days), but we'll still cook up something fun.
Expect ITF runs at least. Maybe some runs through the Night Ward arcs since I've got Praetorians to level.

not entirely off topic as last year I gave out free art to a person who won the CC we did during the fun fair. Also the event is run out of my art channel
Thanks for the grats. We're on vaca atm but I finally got my art stuff back up so when we get home I can draw again!
A small-ish update regarding Cami's fun faire.
Here's the tentative plan for Cami's Fun Faire Fall 2012. As I mentioned earlier, we won't be able to devote as much time as we would like but we figure it'll still be some fun.
The planned events start in the afternoon. Cami and I will be working on Friday morning, but she'll be doing things out of the channel on Saturday and Sunday starting morning-ish (EST), whether it be random sketches or sewer runs. And during downtime (after the planned events more than likely), I'll be doing runs through Praetorian, Nemesis, Clockwork maps (majority rules on what we run) to help out folks.
Friday
5:30 PM (EST) - ITF - The first of many.
Afterwards - Sewer runs. More than likely blueside. Bring out your lowbies and we'll make sure to get everyone to 20 because....
Saturday
5:30 PM (EST) - Penelope TF - Blueside.
Followed by - Admiral Sutter TF - Blueside (Both are 20+)
Followed by - ITF
Sunday
5:30 PM (EST) ITF
Followed by a very kill heavy (Cami's Patron Saint) Synapse TF.
This is the tentative plan. Subject to change (I personally would like to a Mort Kal but we do this for you guys, not us). We weren't sure about hosting a costume contest again, it'll depend on demand. If not, I'm sure Cami has a method for handing out the finished art prize and I'll figure some method to distribute the 500 million influence.
For those who weren't present last time, we aim for kill heavy runs. And this is designed to be enjoyable, so we ask that everyone have fun with it!
