It was announced elsewhere at the whatever it was... city of heroes panel or something. They don't consider it a major feature I guess, but it is coming and that's confirmed.

There will still be a delay before you can get back in the game so it can properly close out and clean up various processes - but you'll be at the character selection screen so you won't have to LOG back in unless you're changing servers.
Recently, I decided to try to get my toons more organized. I was going through them, on four servers, to note what they had or needed (salvage, recipes, whether or not I had accidentally skipped Montague or the IO tutorial, etc.) This was a real hassle; switching between all those toons meant logging back into my account many, many times times. Would it be possible to get a menu of log-out options, to avoid having to re-do the log-in procedure when it's not necessary? It could be something like "Switch characters on this server", "Switch servers", "Switch accounts", and "Quit". Thanks, all.
