Zombie Pets not attacking or dismissing on command.
This is an ongoing bug lately, and it really needs to be made a sticky.
Make a macro with the following command whenever they get stuck and unresponsive
release_pets
Macro that or type it in as a slash command and it will kill your pets instead of dismissing them. You can resummon and they will act nominally again.
It's not just zombies. I've had my mercs do the same thing. I've even had them get stuck changing zones where they just stand at the exit to the Ferry or Train. Even after I managed to dismiss them and resummoned them they reappeared where they were stuck and not where I was at. I've been forced to log off in order to "fix" them.

i really haven't been playing Masterminds since the beta. Has this been ongoing since 18 was released or is it happening more since the Halloween event started?
Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
i remember first seeing this bug in the i18 beta on my Praetorian Bots/Traps. It seemed to have been fixed in a subsequent patch, but apparently not for good.

Good to know about the macro, will have to get that in my tray. Thanks, Late!
I find your lack of signature disturbing.

It happens to me on my mastermind sometimes after zoning.
Change zones, enter a mission or a base then go back out.
It should fix the pets.

I eventually just switched to another character for the night. 10-15 minutes of trying to get your minions to move or release was just too frustrating.

Mmm...
I feel your pain, I have made an MM for each type; and I can tell you all of them gets eventually stuck when zoning. I can't tell what exactly makes them get stuck, its almost a random thing. It goes hard on me, during TFs where every other mission, has to send you to another zone. I get stuck after using the train, base or Oro portal so its not any one transportation means.
A player suggested to use "/releasepets" that works well, of course you will need to re-summon and buff all your pets each time they get stuck. Because this happens so often, I test to see if the pets are following when I enter a mission or move in a zone; a few times I had my bunns handed to me, because I assumed my pets were with me.
I urge to make a bind such as [bind P "/releasepets"], then each time they get stuck press the letter P. Of course by doing this, the old "P" keyboard mapping will no longer bring up your power menu, but you can still see it by clicking it on your power tray tab.

There is a workaround, sort of. The problem seems to occur when you zone with active pets. The solution - kill/dismiss your pets before you zone, and summon them again when you get to wherever you're going. It's annoying, but really not a huge drawback. Afterall, the pets used to die anytime you used a door by default.
This affects more than MM pets as well, my Animated Stone has started doing this, and it was fixed for a while at least.
/releasepets then re-summon works, but a single-target buff should also re-assign your pet to you.
I really waited all year for the Halloween event and now my pet zombies aren't attacking, following, or dismissing so that I can play. I rely on them for some action. I have to either die each time I enter a new zone to get new zombies, or I have to wait for something to kill them to summon them again. Anyone got advice because this sux. I paid all year just to await this event.
