Post fitness-inherent Crab build

So I've been looking into making an ultimate Crab and with fitness becoming inherent Crab potential is looking damned good. On this build note that I have 3 slots left out for putting into 1 into health (Miracle + Numina) and 2 into Stamina (2 endmod and pshifter).

Heres some highlights:

47% Self Ranged Def
40% Self AoE Def
38% Self Melee (no PvP IO 3% tho)
21% Team buff defense from Both Maneuvers
30% Team buff damage from Both Assaults
15% Team buff to-hit from TT: Leadership
Gloom, Channelgun and Longfang for Single Target attacks
Venom Nade, Supression, Dark Obliteration and Omega for AoE attacks
All 3 Pets with cooldowns less than thier duration.

And I have all of that without sacrificing functionality in any of my powers by putting in a junk set just for bonuses.

I do believe i19 will make Crab Spider's potential quite rediculus.

This is what I put together.

This is not a suggestion of how to change yours. They're vastly different.

You focused a lot on pets. I don't really like pets that much, I focused on defense and aoe damage.

This build is over 45% to Range, Melee, AoE, AND Psi.

Nearly as tough as a tank, with excellent ranged damage, wide area coverage and full mez protection.

The only reason I have both mez passives is because it was easier to get the extra slot for knockback protection that way than by sacrificing an actual slot.

Again, I'm not really recommending this build for anyone, but it has what I want for my personal playstyle. There remains the possibility that I'll tweak it some more before completing it.

I would recommend ditching Omega Maneuver in favor of Serum. I'm not a huge fan of OM personally, but some may like it. I can't imagine you'd run across many people who would argue in it's defense.

Serum, however, is an awesome power to have. Since you've already invested in high recharge, you'll be able to have Serum on at all times. The heal component is nice but having an additional 800+ max HP is the real kicker. Even with all the defense in the world you WILL get hit so it's really nice to have this massive safety buffer when someone like Romulus decides to hit you in the face.

I picked Omega mostly as a "for Fun" power. If as I'm playing it turns out that Serum would have proven to be more fun (eg: prevent a lot of faceplants) then I'll respec into it. I'd only lose 1.5% recharge switching to a healing set so no big loss there.

serum is a life extending...omega is only for style and fun...not really worth the slots (but good looking)
