Scrapper Farmer? Spines/Fire -- Build Help!
I've got a new spines/fire scrapper as well, but I haven't worked up a build for him yet. My general plan, however, is to go for max recharge, including 6slotting RotP to get me to the ED cap on recharge and damage.
Mitigation be damned! I'm a burning bush bomb!

I would probably go for more resistance (Tough) and less S/L defense. Aim for 32.5% defense and you can soft-cap with a small purple. Also, I always slot hasten with 3 recharges.
I will post a Spines/Fire Scrapper build if I make one I'm happy with.
I agree, my old Spines/Fire build which could probably be reworked has about 35% defense. When you're farming inspirations will drop a lot so only one purple would be needed to softcap and then you can just pop reds.
The build posted above will be pretty end heavy and Healing Flames is terribly underslotted. The good thing about Spines/Fire is that you don't need too much recharge to have a good AoE chain, so keep that in mind.

Finally make a Spines/Fire build that I'm happy with and it doesn't use purple sets or the PvP 3% defense IO. It isn't perfect, but it should work on a budget. Pop a small purple to soft cap all defense vectors.
If anyone can see ways to improve it without using purples or PvP IOs, please leave suggestions here. I would like to slot Ripper better, but I figured if I had to leave one attack underslotted, it would be the one that has the lowest overall damage potential. The rest of the attacks can hit more targets and do more total damage.
Remember this is for I19 and the extra slots in Physical Perfection are for Health/Stamina.

Thorns - Spines/Willpower Scrapper (1366 Badges)
I have a good amount of farmers. Most of which are fully slotted, and IO'd out like mad. The only thing is farming on the same toons gets boring. I've made a few before, but I remade a Spines/Fire scrapper. The reason I've never stuck with them was burn was a fear, and now that its not, I'm gonna! The only thing is, I'm not really sure what to build for on a Spines/Fire. If anyone has a build that they use, and it works well, please help? Price doesn't matter in the slightest! So if you have a build that looks awesome, or a build you know works, please post =D
