Lock ups on Costume Screen! Plz Help!

Hey Supremely knowledgeable CoX peepz!!

I having a strange lock up issue I can't nail down and I'm hoping you can help!

Almost everytime (95%) I try to enter the Costume change screen I lock up CoH.
Every now and then (5%) It will do it when I go from my Map screen to the Contact Screen. It will also lock up if I start trying to adjust "Shadows" about 50% of the time.

To give you a short history, I never had this issue before, I was running 2 8600 w/512 ram SLI'd and only 2G of RAM. I had one of the 8600 go out on me so I replaced them with 2 XLR8 GTS 250 w/1G (PNY) and upped my RAM to 4G.

All other programs and PC operations work superbly, no delays, nada.

I've run scans, scan disks, defrags, updated drivers, rolled back drivers, Updated the bios, Turn the graphics up, down, ect.

Who is the manufacturer of you graphics card?
If it is EVGA, and you are running EVGA precision (even just to monitor card temps, without making any tweaks), then this is something that happens A LOT.
If this is the case the best thing to do is simply not run EVGA precision.

If you aren't running that tool, then I am completely wrong and may be ignored completely.

Removed all graphic tweaking software (other then the Nvidia drivers) still locks ups.

I'm having the exact same problem too, pain in the ***..

Crashed twice this morning trying to open the Costume Screen.

Having the same problem, been talking to Tech Support about it. Locks up when I try to enter costume screen(most of the time) and when I right-click and try to look at a characters "Info". Been going on since "Going Rogue". Also the game doesn't close out correctly. Always have to Task Manager "End Program" to shut off the game.

everyone having issues, make sure all of your drivers are up to date by going to the manufacturers web sites and downloading the drivers. DO NOT use windows to update your hardware drivers. it will not do it.

To rule out software conflict you can disable all the add on software running in the background by following the instructions found here.

You might want to purge all the intrusiveware installed by Adobe including Viewpoint which is adware.

I might consider that Zombie Man if I was having problems with other games too, but this is quite specific for CoX. All my other games work fine. I just DL the latest Driver for my 8800GTS, the 260.??? driver and the problem continues. Something is not jiving with the GR build. Since that went active the problem started up a little while after it went live.

try a disc clean up and defrag. CoH uses more resources then almost any other game.

Did that a couple weeks ago and the problem never stopped then either.
