I invited him personally to the Protector Vigilance channel a few months back, so if he's online (which seems a rare treat these days) we can reach him.

In any case, if you're not getting what you expected I will be available to do a full refund. I'm holding some inf from that auction still (for N P C / Mentor Project) and can also cover it with my own stash.

Last I heard, there were usually 3 representatives from each server, with one of them acting as Senior Server Rep. And the recruiting for more reps when positions need to be filled was a priority when I held that role.

I'm sure PERC is doing its best in this situation, but the fact of the matter is Protector doesn't respond as enthiusiastically to this player-led organization (for various reasons) as other servers do.

We have a plethora of event organizers and a very independent playerbase. We like to do things "on our own" so to speak, and do it "our way".

We're cute and fuzzy that way.

No need for an appology for me Ice, it was a (now known) error/miscommunication although I do appreciate it. I do realize it's just a game and you folks hosts these contests and get nothing in return for doing it. I never once took anything you said in the thread as insulting or negative towards me. I only had questions

I'm really sorry about that, but there hasn't been a way of doing it. Sooner wanted to be written into a comic in some fashion, and unfortunately I don't get to do them very often (hopefully that will change soon), so there hasn't been an opportunity yet. The next thing I have out is the Twilight Guardian mini-series, but because of the concept, there wasn't really a way to do it there.

I'm willing to chip in some game moolah for a refund, too, though, or fork over some comics, or work you into an AE adventure (I'm hoping to do some more in the near future, though presumably not as a guest author), or wait for another opportunity, or whatever it takes. I aim to please (you aim, too, please).

Whatever Sooner opts for, you da man.

And please keep us posted about the mini-series! I don't know if everyone got a chance to see the preview, but that was very intriguing as a comic concept.

PS - What did you mean by "that will change soon"? More offers / deals coming? =)

I tell ya what, Troy, I was very interested in option to appear in a comic - hence the dramatic bidding war and huge price tag - and I am still very interested. If that is still an option, I'll keep on waiting. As long as you haven't forgotten me, I can sit quietly and wait.

This all depends on like Stalemate said, how many reps are available on a server. YES, PERC is trying to get more reps. But as of right now, not many are stepping up to the plate to join us and represent their server. Hence, why Toxic and I have came forth to help out. Like Stale also mentioned we try to have at least 3 reps plus an SSR on each server. This would be IDEAL but is definitely NOT the norm amongst all servers right now.

On my server we will be running 3 events this month and over the past year have developed many NEW event ideas. I totally agree with you about running new and different events. Mr & Ms. just happens to be our staple event that we cannot help but run once a year. Truthfully we leave it up to the local reps to develop events and run them on their servers. I run a ton of my own events on my own server and I do share the event ideas with the rest of the group but... at the end of the day it is up to those local reps to choose whether to use the idea or not. We simply do not have enough time to run every event across every server. This also leads into when we did the survey the results showed you all truly wanted to be individually catered and not all clumped together. Every server does have a different identity and flavor of people... as we have noticed from the Mr / Ms aftermaths.

We are working on solutions to the issues and we are going to be hopefully start recruiting new reps to join us so that by January we can be ready to run full steam and hopefully have a packed crowd on PERC. Bare with us and thanks for your suggestions and feedback.
