Now, as a melee set, more then a pet based one, it could be thematically interesting. It could be more like an aura effect of leaving after images of yourself, like The Bionic Man. We have Flurry, so the attacks could be similar, only actually multiplying. Yourself to attack from different vectors, or just to mob one opponent with attacks.
As a defensive set, you could have a dull pain style hp increase, where you are constantly creating clones that take the hits for you, meaning you take a fracton of the original damage. Bah, there are different ways of explaining it to be either defense, resistance, hasten effects, damage increases, and the like. In the end, it would just be one of the many power sets we already have, only mixed together a little differently, with a different theme. Kind of like willpower.
Not to say it would nor be interesting. I would prefer to see a clown based mastermind set though.

You could actually do this back in I2 or I3 now and then without dual boxing, alt accounts, or anything like that.

I was suggesting that the hero multiplies and can create 1, 2, or 3 of themselves like Mulitple Man (Jamie Madrox) of the X-men and fights using melee powers.
Theres a way to make Illusion look like you. Just play around with the costume creator and then when you hit 30 give yourself the sparkly aura so you look exactly like the Phantasm. Oh and Superior Invisibility plays alongside that.

Given the current configuration of the game, would it be possible to have a power with mutliple versions of yourself like Multiple Man. Since we have pets, would it be possible to do it similar to that? I am just curious, not actually suggesting the power, but asking if it would be possible. Also, thinking it would be a melee power set.
