These forums have never acted right for me. Now I just click Last Page of a thread and read back until I find where I stopped, because trying to go to first unread never works 
In all likelihood you were logged out and then logged right back in. Check your last visit time in the upper right corner.
It's damn aggravating when it happens.

Is there something wrong with the forums? I usually start off clicking on the "New Posts" tab at the top of the forum to get my day started and begin reading posts. However today, whenever I click on it, it just shows me 1 or 2 items, not a screen full of posts like it usually does. Looks like it's just showing me the 1 or 2 most recent posts, has something changed?
