Incarnate System
As far as we know, the mechanics of the Alpha Slot were such that it added a boost to all compatible powers that allowed for the kind of boost you placed in it. You also had to make specific items to put in the Alpha Slot and each one had multiple versions.
Alpha-slot enhancement Items are also PERMANENT and you can switch your alpha slotting with anything else you made using the Incarnate Salvage without losing what you had previously.
Thus, if you get a later Incarnate Ability that boosts damage you can unslot that 33% damage/33% recharge Alpha item and slot in something else.
The mechanics of the system have likely not changed, just the method of opening it up. If the mechanics have become drastically different from what I read in the closed beta boards...then this could all be invalid.
So like are there any resistance based Incarnate abilitys? My main toon an Electric Armor/Super Strength tanker has a real good DMG output from 2x sometimes 3x rage and nice recharge. But he would be made more godly if i could boost his resistance up more.
Don't recall if any of the alpha slot stuff touched on Resistance, but several were like "Damage +50%, 1/3 ignored ED".
Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
That's to bad, i suppose more recharge could be epic. maybe it could get my hasten perma and even more rage plus a faster recharging Energize.
Before it was removed from the issue 18/GR beta, here's what we knew about the Incarnate stuff:

There's a list of the enhancements as well as details on how they were earned. Some of the primary concerns with it that led to it being pulled from Going Rogue were around the process of unlocking the Alpha Slot and such, so likely that is what is going to change the most. But until they actually open up the issue 19 beta, we don't know anything more for sure (unless you're actually in the beta, if its even started)
Thx, Cardiac Radial (Uncommon) - 33% EndRedux / 20% Damage Resist sounds pretty nice
You don't put the slot anywhere. You fill it. It is not a power specific slot.
Yep think of them (the Incarnate Slots) more as separate universal or globally effective slots. Whatever you slotted into it effected everything in your build that normally would be effected by whatever it was enhancing at least in the case of the Alpha slot. So, for example, the Cardiac Radial boost would be as if you had the 33% Endred in all your powers that could take Endred enhancement and 20% Damage Resistance enhancement in all your powers that could take Damage Resistance enhancement.

Okay but you know how after like 50% enhanced resistance it just starts crapping out. Will 20% turn to like 2% because of that?

A portion of it will and is subject to ED. A smaller portion won't and will get around ED. Read the link above... it gives examples.

I was just wondering if before i19 comes out will we be informed of all the available incarnate buffs? I'm curious because I don't want to put this alpha slot in an attack then find out I could get a better skill if it slotted some were else. So will these Alpha Slot 'fillers' be shown before the actual issue is out?
