I want to specially thank Nethergoat for helping me out

All the advice i got here helped a lot, now i know how to make enough to make enough inf for my enhancements. The game feels so much better have enhancements lol

Crafting minor IO and selling them back on the market makes small profits and makes the game very interesting

Open up your contacts window, and look for the "Tips" tab. You may have three tips there (the maximum you can have at any one time).

The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

Okay, others have offered good tips. Now I need to ask...what's the big hurry? This isn't one of those games where the fun doesn't start until the level cap...

I think its silly that a few of you are scolding him for rushing. This game is easy enough that you can get to level 20 in a single day through duoing. I know, I've done it. Granted it takes hours to do it, depending on your difficulty settings, but why tell him he shouldn't be 25 yet? He said that he was teaming up with people while he was playing, and 1 - 25 in 2 days is very possible when you do nothing but team.

I can shoot you a million or two as well if you like.

I'm not scolding, simply curious. Yes, it's simple to get to 25 quick. But as an experienced player. A newbie who never touched the game before 2 days ago, though? He's skipping a lot of content and will likely burn out on the game quick that way, especially if he's expecting something like WoW-style "endgame"...

No, you're looking at something else. You can only have 3 tips at one time. I imagine you're looking at the 5 slots you have for "completed" tip missions per day.

you shouldn't, at least not of the same alignment. you can only have up to 3 tips, less if you are approaching the limit of 5 completed within the last 20 hours.

The amount completed in the last 20 hours doesn't affect tip drops - if you do them, however, after the fifth for the past 20 they don't count.

This seems to be incorrect, when I've done 5 tip missions in a day I no longer get any tips drop until the next day. If I've done 3 tip missions I'll get up to two drop but no more. If I've done 4 tip missions I only get one tip drop.

If it's not supposed to be that way then it's bugged as that's the way it's worked for me since i18 went live.

I aint rushing, i just like to know how the game works.

Used to play WoW, gold capped there but the economy here is so different its nice to get some tips.

Thanks to all the tips here im sitting with around 8 million, the auction house is very interesting to play here with the new mechanics and I learnt way more than i would if i was randomly running around playing the game.

The levelling to 25, i didnt know it was a big deal lol. I was just randomly doing missions, made a few friends online and kept making teams cause it was fun

Though once i hit paragon its slowed down a lot, exploring everything the game has to offer

I wouldn't worry about it, hitting 25 after a couple of long days of play is pretty average. Hitting 25 after 2 hours now is pushing things a bit... but it is possible. I usually get into the mid-20's in 10 hours or less when I'm not hurrying.

In my opinion things start getting fun around the time you get to 22 and can slot SO enhancements... you've gotten most of your core powers, your end use should be under control and the character starts to be more fun to play.

I don't know what the average time to 50 is in today's game; things have changed a bunch over the issues with XP bonuses and changes making it quicker to level. Back in issue 3 when I started playing it usually took around 300-500 hours to reach level 50; my last trip took less than 100 hours. Of course familiarity with the game makes a difference but it does seem that leveling is roughly twice as fast as it used to be.

All that said there's not a whole lot of "only level 50" stuff in the game; most players tend to level a character to 50 and then start another. Rushing to 50 is really counterproductive.

That said, today's i19 announcement showcases the beginning of the Incarnate system, the long-awaited endgame for CoH. They're going to roll it out slowly but its intent is to allow a path to players that want to continue to advance characters in power even after they hit level 50.

I don't anticipate CoH ever turning into a WoW-style "rush to level cap to start raiding" type of game but over the next year the game will be adding a lot more content for level-capped characters.
