Sorry, but that is, in fact, the proper useage of the word:

A better choice would be internecine.

I'm betting that its a spell check error for "Internal" rather than an archaic use of the word.

Am I the only one who reads that as "a brand new parallel world and the Enriche behind those sterile Praetorian walls?" Maybe it's just because I don't really know what Enriche does, I just like to blame everything horrible on it...

So we're laughing out loud at what? Limited vocabularies?

Yes, it is not the most common use of the word but really? It's not so archaic a use that I had think about it or look it up. Read more. Expand your knowledge base. Go beat up your teachers for not doing their jobs!(Errr, just kidding on that last one. Yell at them but no beating up.)

Edit to add: I've still not explored Praetoria but I have noticed on the boards that a couple groups use really unique phraseology and such - Is the "official" language very officious or flowery? Perhaps it was an attempt to tie in to that? *shrug* Just thinking...

I think it is the "Intestine Struggle Ripping Apart" part...although grammatically correct, still seems oh so EW!

You are going to go into Praetoria with us! You said so! I'm not sure about the Praetorian language, I'll have to pay more attention while I run around Praetoria.

I've not played the loyalist side the language used by some of the resistance can be difficult at best to understand. Some characters are quite funny to read. Of course i've only played to level 12, KM is really plodding on teams, big wind up, oh its already dead...big wind up...dead again...next group! Haven't played since beta, i'm working on lightening my schedule so i can play again, meeting today at 11...:P

Dearest Caemgen,

The supercilious inflection of your literary benefaction causes concern over the current pulse of this game's community.

Rather than care to conceive of a relation between several words to which the aforementioned focal point of my amusement in regards to the official publication may incite a double-entendre capable of arousing a chuckle (highlighted by the entirety of the red line, as VexXxa pointed out quite competently) it seems as though you insist to conjecture that the source of my merriment is my own poor lexicon. This is of course just prior to a rather adolescent attempt at demeaning my contribution- which, to be quite frank- I had foresaw to be of value to the senses of at least some. Clearly, though, I was in err to make such the preemptive deduction that one as literately astute as yourself might be able to decipher the intricate method by which the particular grouping of words in question were arranged, as it incontestably led to a response reminiscent of unabashedly youthful callow.

This being said (the phrasing is tongue-in-cheek, as noticeably this has not been spoken but rather typed instead) my capacity for regalement is exhausted and I find myself now impassive to the notion of further lengthening this parody of a response.

A sincere regard to you,

TheWidower

As the kids these days say - My bad.

I believe I somehow missed the fact the entire phrase was underlined and only noticed the one word. Either that or my mind just didn't leap upon the potty humor, which would be suprising considering my mind. So with that in mind, you have my apology for assuming your mocking was aimed at a lack of understanding the word.

(I still think everyone should read more. Expand their knowledge base. And beat up teachers who don't do their jobs... Err, yell at! I mean yell at teachers, of course!)

Widower, I just read your post and for some reason, it was with a British accent! I can't imagine why.

Cheers!

Np. I'm not exactly known for my complete immunity to jumping to conclusions, myself.

Actually, this is entirely correct. Its a little-known fact that the denziens of Praetoria live on a steady diet of Chilli Con Carne. >.>
