High Risk Incorporated is a paramilitary organization of Vigilantes and Heroes who have found the hard way that sometimes fighting crime means fighting crime and that there comes a time when you just have to play as hard or harder to win than the authorities consider acceptable.

Founded by Susan “Sushi” Cray and Joshua “ Scalphunter” Morgan, the team is a group of private contractors providing security and private investigations worldwide. Need a hostage rescued? Recovery of a kidnap victim? Has the Council been knocking on your door, Vazhilok peeking in your window lusting after your hot young bod for the Doctor's flesh vats? HRI will be happy to save your day, rescue your child or retrieve that lost bit of blackmail…and all for a reasonable (if steep) fee.

Because its not called High Risk for nothin’!

Comprised of vigilantes, disillusioned heroes, mercenaries, refugees and defectors from the Rogue Isles, HRI accepts recruits from all walks of life and any archetype. We promote camaraderie, teamwork and tight unit cohesion – our twin mottoes are “ Fight to Win”, along with the one not on our patch – Everyone goes home. We never leave a teammate behind.

But behind the scenes is a little known role – High Risk Inc. is a black ops funded entity who, at the behest of (and with generous support from) the government, undertakes resistance missions into the Rogue Isles, and provide a hard bitten deniable asset. HRI’s covert mission: to combat the uniformed criminal armies besieging America, the world and Paragon City. Criminals are bad enough, but the world is under siege by the Council, Malta, Nemesis, the 5th Column and yes, Arachnos.

Most of the members have a strong sense of commitment, not to the letter of the law but the spirit of it. We may never attack civilians or innocents, but we will aggresively fight crime and criminal organizations. Of course, we fight hard. We fight dirty, and we fight to win. We are there for the little guy, and normal criminals? well, thats the polices worry. We have bigger fish to fry.

Rules of engagement? Easy. Never harm civilians, avoid collateral damage - although, in the broad scheme of things property damage is something we pretty much don't sweat. OOPS! Killed that Skull that was trying to unload on you with a shotgun? Well, if he didn't want to get dead he'd have made a point not to open fire on us, chum.

We take the war home to them, and make the world a little bit better place – one bullet at a time!

Out of Character – we are a hero and vigilante super group on Virtue server. We promote hardcore heavy RP, bring a friendly and close knit atmosphere for mature, adult players.
Any are welcome to join us after an application and a one-month trial period as a rookie.

We follow the City of Heroes / Villains canon, and ask that players be prepared to commit to balanced RP. We do action and consequence (lesser gods need not apply) and promote courteous and enthusiastic RP and characterization. RP events and forum RP are encouraged! The goal is to be, and provide, the very best in RP on Virtue Server. Sure, its a reach, but thats what we are tryin for, come join us and lets see if we can do it together!

Simply fill out an app, and join the site here: http://highriskincorporated.mmoguildsites.com/

Interested parties may contact Susan Ellis Cray or Scalphunter ingame on the Virtue server. The group leader can be reached flobally at @Maemir Firehand.

I just read the rules on your forums and I was all "YES! This is exactly what I believe about Role-play! Someone else gets it!"

Interesting but the character I have best suited for the concept is an alt. I know you bring it up in the application but how flexible are you on this? If I play my alt a few times a week? Once a week? Must be my main?

I'll be the first to admit even as SG leader I’m not on constantly. Generally, a fair rule of thumb is at least SOME participation is expected. If you need a timeframe, maybe I can't offer much advice, but I my thinking would be: enough to justify being an an active group? I'll be the first to grant that’s subjective.

Perhaps a few days / evening a week?

I tend to be on intermittently ( hopefully as membership builds that will be less of an issue, as we start having enough people on regularly we can join in RP together - were in the building stages and its always a slow starter.

Generally I’m myself on early evenings thru late night. Often LATE late as in past midnight PST.Catch me online of feel free to shot me an in game email! If you join the site and PM me, I’m happy to send my hotmail addy so we can coordinate ^.^ and Im generally on five nights a week when I find folk to romp around with.
