concept is simple have it setup kinda like a stock market but available on the coh website so that if i'm not in-game but working on a build i can find out the entire cost.

Dunno if it'll really work all that simple. Not only because I think it won't be easy to set it up to show on the website, but also because prices fluctuate constantly so I don't think it'll be of much help either.

1a) Put a big disclaimer "Sales Prices are for reference only and might not reflect current bids."
1b) "Sales that have gone through in previous transactions are no gaurantee of future activity."

2) Once per day, refresh the website with that day's sales.

3) Rather than the current "Last 5", website would display the last 50 or so, refreshed only once per day. It would be harder to "paint" the last 50 than the last 5, especially with a fast-moving commodity. With a web page, there would be more display room than the in-game interface.

4) It would make a great attachment point for a good Market Tutorial that explains exactly how things really work.

Overall, I see this like one of those "Today's Market in review" financial shows, rather than a real-time stock ticker. Now if we can only get some of our Market Forum regulars to host it.

yea, the idea is that it lists the recipes or what ever and then gives a history of the previous prices....i know it could be done due to many other games doing it. here is how I see it working

-----|----------------------|------------|
name percentage up or down last sold for

ok....then....individual pages could give the details of all the items, then also give the history minus the number bidding/selling
