In going rogue missions, there are contacts inside missions where people have to cycle through options... and nobody else gets to see the text of have any inkling of a clue what's going on if they have not done the mission before.

I would propose that contacts inside missions say things in the same way that these random paragraph long colored messages pop up (such as Crow speaking to the team from...wherever). That way, the team knows what's going on, and if they're about to be betrayed or something of the like.

Very basic idea mind you, since it's a larger issue than just going rogue.

I see it as a subset of a much larger problem - that almost all mission dialogue is leader-centric. Unless you're the team leader, you can't read the clues, debriefings, and so on. Unfortunately, fixing that would probably take an update to the UI, so I doubt it'll ever happen.

It would be nice to still be a part of the story when someone else is leading.

In the case of contacts standing inside missions, anyone can read it, just click on them yourself and you can see everything the mission holder is seeing.

Unless it's a mission with options, like the one where you fight that carnie mistress and can either let her go or capture her. Only the team leader can talk to her because it changes the arc. It's part of the loyalist path, BTW!
